ET Premieres Behind-the-Scenes Footage from Iron Man 2

I really hate Entertainment Tonight. I'm sorry if I burst anyone's bubble by saying that, but really, they just suck. ET Online has debuted a first look at a "set visit" for Iron Man 2. Don't expect much. Although it's a full five minutes long, this features nothing more than a few bland questions and answers, some behind-the-scenes footage so bad you can't even see what's going on, and maybe a glimpse or two of actual footage from the movie. Sure it looks cool and some of the stunts you see Black Widow doing (for a half of a second) look pretty awesome, but that's about it. I'm excited for Iron Man 2, sure, but let's see some actual footage!
Iron Man 2 takes place "six months after Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man" at the end of the first movie. Jon Favreau is directing again from a script written by actor-turned-screenwriter Justin Theroux. Iron Man 2 stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Mickey Rourke as Whiplash, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, and Don Cheadle as Rhodey. We're not sure when we'll see an actual trailer, especially since Favreau brought footage to Comic-Con, but we hope it's much soon than later. Paramount is bringing Iron Man 2 to theaters on May 7th next summer.

This would be a really good time for Paramount to debut a trailer and keep the buzz up. Would have loved to see some actual footage, but something is better than nothing.

Boring! I actually hope we don't get a trailer till next year. New Years day would be an awesome treat! And only one trailer! None of this 2, 3, 4 trailers, behind the scenes, little clips of scenes. I'm sick of holllywood doing that. I realize it's all marketing but this is MF IRONMAN! Will absolutely make a boat load of cash. I want to be excited and teased going into this, not see and know the majority of the movie going in. Will this be better than the first?

Yes I agree Entertainment Tonight used to be quality entertainment reporting - I remember a time when I relied on ET for the best, in depth, up to date Hollywood coverage - now we see more of there "amazing" revolving set than the actual footage for a story they are covering.
The show is filled with advertising, gimmicks, flashy sets pieces, glossy graphics instead of providing quality entertainment reporting.
Name one quality entertainment program on TV now that we can rely on for good in depth coverage.
E! and The Insider are Entertainment Tonight sister clones.
The only place for up to date, in depth entertainment news reporting is the internet.

For those who are actual fans of the comics, realize what that is. Oh yeah

Im glad it is so little, the less the better…why show so much? you want the whole beans spilled out like Matrix Rel/Rev Times? with 3, 4 trailers spoiling lots of stuff about the movie, and knowing everything before having even seen the movie???

I think trailers are the worst thing about the movie industry. Teasers are perfect, starts the hype and what not, then maybe one more to show most of the characters and a few subplots. Trailers nowadays tell you 85% of the story, show all the special effects, fight scenes, some of the funniest parts in comedies, so the movie itself may have one twist, a few extra fight scenes, and a few more comedic lines you didn't see in the trailer.
IMO, I would much rather not see too much or not know what to expect going in the theater. It always takes away from the movie and effects my first reactions to several things cause I already know what's coming.

I loved it, great behind the scenes footage. I normally ignore Alex's pre viewing words since half the time it's senseless bashing with a few comments agreeing.
