Official Poster for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day Unveiled
October 6, 2009
Source: MTV
by Alex Billington
More goodies for all the hardcore Boondock Saints fans out there. MTV has debuted the official poster for the sequel we thought we'd never see - Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. It's not an exact copy, but it looks strikingly similar to the original Boondock Saints poster seen here (at least with the two guys holding guns). Obviously they're trying to get everyone who even saw the original to take an interest in the sequel. And if they keep promoting it that way, they may turn this into another cult classic. That is, if it's actually a good movie. Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, Billy Connolly and David Della Rocco are all returning.
If you haven't seen it, the first official trailer for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is online right here.
Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is once again both written and directed by the crazy Troy Duffy, the Connecticut-born filmmaker whose only claim to fame is the first Boondock Saints. If you want to catch a glimpse of just how crazy he truly is, you can watch the making of documentary called Overnight about everything that went into the original. Apparition will be distributing Boondock Saints II, although they haven't set an official date yet, IMDb lists a limited release starting on October 30th this fall. Excited?

Loved the 1st one and I hope the new one is a success! I hope this site will promote it in the next few weeks a little to help spark interest! It's going to be a bad-ass, gun-blazing, "F bombing" action movie!!

been waiting for something from Duffy for a while. Hope that it comes across as well as the original, even if its just a sequel it should be at the very least entertaining.
