Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Hosting an 'Open House'

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have made waves on HBO's hit vampire series "True Blood". Their on-screen relationship as an inter-species vampire/human couple then became a case of life imitating art (without all the vampire stuff) as the two are now engaged to be married in real life. But it looks like these two just can't stand to be away from each other on or off the screen as Dread Central reports that they have both been cast in Andrew Paquin's upcoming thriller Open House, the story of a couple who discover that days after an open house one potential buyer of their luxurious home never left. And no, it's not a vampire.
Open House is directed by Anna Paquin's brother Andrew Paquin who most recently produced the Renee Zellweger romantic comedy New in Town but is a first-time director. The cast for Open House also includes actors Tricia Helfer, Rachel Blanchard, Brian Geraghty, Jessica Collins, Larry Sullivan, and Gabriel Olds.
I'll admit that I've only seen the first couple episodes of "True Blood", and though it didn't seem like it was terrible, it wasn't riveting enough for me to dedicate an entire hour to add another show to my already huge DVR roster which I was only semi-interested in. However, I heard that the show didn't really pick-up full steam until the fourth or fifth episode, so I may give it another shot. Either way, it's hard to miss the clips of steamy romance between Moyer and Paquin's characters, and their chemistry should bring a healthy dose of realism to this project. As for the production, it sounds interesting enough, so we'll be keeping an eye on it.

True Blood is a fantastic show and they have great chemistry together. The premise seems like a fun thriller, not all too serious, but it seems like a pretty large cast already because the premise seems like it just takes place mainly in and around the house.

"True Blood" is an extraordinary series. The pilot was good, but its true, only after the fifth episode is when it really kicks into high gear. All the way up to the end of season 2, its been top notch.
So let me get this straight, Anna Paquin is starring in a movie called "Open House" w/ her newlywed husband Stephen Moyer whom is her vampire boyfriend in a series currently on HBO, PLUS this movie "Open House" is being directed by her brother Andrew Paquin to boot? - wow talk about a Wayan's-ish project…

i need to hear more on the plot. as it is now, it seems a little unbelieveable. i'm sure there's more to it than someone who came to the open house and won't leave.

Paquin looks like a ventriloquist's dummy in that photo.
