Tony Scott + Chippendales Means a Different Kind of Action

That's right, Variety reports Tony Scott, the man responsible for such adrenaline fueled action flicks as Deja Vu and Enemy of the State, is gearing up to bring some sex to the silver screen in the form of a biopic about the rise and fall of Chippendales club creator Steve Banerjee. The Scott Free banner will produce the Lisa Schraeger written script (she also wrote another sex driven bipoic chronicling the Heidi Fleiss story Pay the Girl for Nicole Kidman) which is being adapted from some sort of manuscript written by Rodney Sheldon. No cast have been announced, but with all the shirtless guys in Hollywood it can't be that difficult.
The story of Banerjee has plenty of interesting ups and downs. After working at a Mobil gas station and a failed backgammon club (seriously?), Banerjee bought a Los Angeles club named Destiny II and turned it into a nightclub that featured female mud wrestling and also a "Male Exotic Dancing Night for Ladies Only." When dude dancing became a hit, Banerjee renamed the club Chippendales and his success increased exponentially throughout the 80's with hundreds of clubs all over the country bringing in $8 million a year. But apparently the success was too much as Banerjee was consumed by excess and competition until he was caught up in a racketeering scandal, sentenced to prison, and killed himself during his incarceration.
There's enough female-driven sex appeal in most movies, so why not give the women a chance to partake in a bit of motion picture lust. My only regret is that we've lost both Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze and will not have the amazing treat of ever seeing two of the best Chippendales dancers on stage again. Thoughts?

My name is Matt and I am absolutely ECSTATIC for this movie! My dream line-up of chippendales wold have to be Orlando Bloom,Gerard Butt-ler, 
Brad Pitt, Chris Brown, And Adam Lambert. He has such a beautiful soul andI really hope he becomes an actor! i heart chippendales!

Your right about Swayze and Farley Ethan.
It would have been cool to see those two have a dance off with Tony Scott's crazy film editing.
I wonder if Denzel washington will be in this? He seems to be in everything directed by Tony Scott these days.
