Must Watch: Officially Wacky Trailer for A Town Called Panic

It is my absolute pleasure to present the official trailer for A Town Called Panic today on Thanksgiving. This wonderfully wacky stop-motion animated movie comes from Belgium, where these same characters are part of a TV show. A Town Called Panic is about the misadventures of Cowboy, Indian and Horse. It's really hard to describe this, the concept, the story, anything. But, t's one of the best stop animated movies I've seen in a while (in addition to Fantastic Mr. Fox) and it's pure fun from start to finish. It's insanely trippy, as you'll see, but thoroughly entertaining as well. If there's only one new trailer you watch today, let this be it!
Watch the official US trailer for A Town Called Panic:
Even animated plastic toys like Cowboy, Indian and Horse have problems, too. Cowboy and Indian's plan to surprise Horse with a homemade birthday gift backfires when they destroy his entire house instead.
A Town Called Panic, aka Panique au Village in Belgian, is co-directed and co-written by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar, also of the Pic Pic André shoow. This premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and was eventually picked up by Zeitgeist Films for release in the US. A Town Called Panic will hit very limited theaters starting on December 16th and is being considered for Best Animated Feature this year.

looks like utter shit and more pure laziness than any form of art.
not surprised the site likes it.
there's no excuse for having a backdrop that a 2 year old could paint with closed eyes.
also it was hardly funny, let me correct myself it wasn't at all funny.

"A Town Called Panic, aka Panique au Village in Belgian"
"Belgian" ? really ? Christ on a bike I despair.
Dr. Duvel on Nov 27, 2009

The correct translation is "Panic in the village" not "A town called panic".
And just because they also speak french in Belgium doesn't mean they are Frenchmen.
It's like calling a US citizen Canadian or vica versa

Indeed, Belgium is not France. We speak both french and dutch but we are different ! What can I say about that movie ? It's a shame for Belgian cinema… There are much better movies from my country, such as Man Bites Dog, Memory of the killer or Dikkenek.

oui panique au village très bon. A voir car impossible à raconter.
#22 je ne suis pas sur que Dikkenek soit à citer dans les référence du cinéma belge.
"C'est arrivé près de chez vous" oui.
