Jeremy Renner Might Be Playing Hawkeye in Marvel's Thor?

Jeremy Renner / Hawkeye

Man there's been a lot of Thor news recently. And it doesn't stop, even though it's a holiday! The Playlist is reporting that in the latest issue of Empire (the article isn't online), actor Jeremy Renner (last seen in The Hurt Locker) says he has been talking with Marvel about playing the character of Hawkeye in Kenneth Branagh's Thor. He simply says: "Hawkeye could be interesting. They're going to send me some stuff on it, see what it is. But I think they're pretty awesome, trying to make superhero movies almost plausible and not just some fantasy thing." Not very revealing, but this isn't the first time we've heard Hawkeye mentioned.

Watch This: Trailer for New One-Room Thriller Titled Exam

Exam Trailer

By now, the stuck-in-one-room thriller has almost become a genre of its own. Cube was one of the first to spark up a new batch and then we later got Saw and most recently The Killing Room. Now out of the UK comes another new thriller called Exam about eight people locked in one room who are given one simple question to answer. But what is the question? Empire has debuted a trailer for this and it looks frickin' fantastic. I'm a sucker for these kind of films and this looks like one of the better ones coming up. Plus, I haven't seen Colin Salmon (he's the Invigilator) in a good role in a while and he looks great. Watch this!

Official Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader Photos

The Dawn Treader

A late Thanksgiving treat for all of you Chronicles of Narnia fans, if there are any left after Prince Caspian. Over on the official Facebook page for the Narnia movies, three new photos have been released. We posted some spy photos of the ship in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader back in August, but these are the first three official photos and they all look pretty damn cool. Though I'm already getting reminded of Pirates of the Caribbean and I imagine once we see a trailer for this, it'll look a lot more like the Pirates movies. Apparently most of the story takes place on this ship, as seen below. Check 'em out!

Must Watch: Officially Wacky Trailer for A Town Called Panic

A Town Called Panic Trailer

It is my absolute pleasure to present the official trailer for A Town Called Panic today on Thanksgiving. This wonderfully wacky stop-motion animated movie comes from Belgium, where these same characters are part of a TV show. A Town Called Panic is about the misadventures of Cowboy, Indian and Horse. It's really hard to describe this, the concept, the story, anything. But, t's one of the best stop animated movies I've seen in a while (in addition to Fantastic Mr. Fox) and it's pure fun from start to finish. It's insanely trippy, as you'll see, but thoroughly entertaining as well. If there's only one new trailer you watch today, let this be it!

Sound Off: Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox - Your Thoughts?

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Now that you've seen it, what did you think? Indie filmmaker Wes Anderson returns this week with his latest adventure, Fantastic Mr. Fox, based on the beloved Roald Dahl short story. And this time he's using stop-motion animation. So how does it live up to his past films? Is it as entertaining and adventurous as the critics say it is? How do the voices sound? How does the animation look? Is it a good story to watch or is it completely boring? How is Anderson's directing? Is it better than Coraline or Pixar's Up? If you've seen it already, then sound off below, leave a comment, and let us know what you thought of Fantastic Mr. Fox!

Quick Thor Update on Whether Donald Blake is in the Script

Thor - Donald Blake

There has been a lot of Thor related news recently, mostly about casting. However, some story details are finally starting to trickle out. Back in January we ran an article about the potential appearance of disabled med student Donald Blake, Thor's alter ego, in Kenneth Branagh's Thor movie, since it was originally unconfirmed whether we'd see Blake or whether it would be set entirely in Asgard. I promised to keep you guys updated, so here's the latest. A trustworthy source told AICN that Blake is not in the story. They also go on to outline exactly what happens in the movie, but to stay spoiler free, I suggest you don't read that.

Watch This: Awesome New Extended TV Trailer for Daybreakers

Daybreakers

Lionsgate has debuted a one-minute TV trailer for the Spierig Brother's Daybreakers futuristic vampire movie. We haven't seen another trailer since the first one debuted in June, but this new spot looks awesome. Daybreakers showed at a few film festivals back in September and I've heard nothing but great things from everyone who saw it. I unfortunately missed all the screenings for it, but even people like SlashFilm's Peter Sciretta and Collider's Frosty were really impressed by it. I think it's a cool concept and I absolutely love the dark blue visual style. Combined with positive reviews, I must say I can't wait to see this when it comes out!

Peter Jackson Says Tintin Won't Be Done for Another 2 Years

Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg on Tintin

Yep, you read that right. Although the first film, titled The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, is entirely shot and "in the can" as they say, it will still take two more years to finish creating. Avatar took just as long to finish, but then again two years ago we weren't reporting on that as much as we are now. This project, on the other hand, already has a lot of early buzz despite the December 23rd, 2011 release date set by Paramount. Jackson spoke with the BBC while in town for the premiere of The Lovely Bones and told them that the movie is done and cut together, it'll just take a very long time to render it.

First Look: Official Photos from The Losers and Jonah Hex

Zoe Saldana in The Losers

A few new photos for your viewing pleasure today. Our Brazilian friends from Omelete have scored the first photos from The Losers, the DC Comics adaptation being directed by Sylvain White, and Jonah Hex, the other DC Comics adaptation being directed by Jimmy Hayward. We've seen photos for both of these movies before (here and here), but those photos were all unofficial shots from the sets. These are officially released photos and they all look pretty damn cool. That Jonah Hex one seems like it'd be better as a poster, but it's cool either way. And, of course, The Losers don't look anything like losers to me. Anyway, check 'em out!

Two New International Posters for Joe Johnston's The Wolfman

The Wolfman Posters

The legend is alive. Two new posters for Joe Johnston's The Wolfman have popped up online today, the first one from Kino Gallery (via STYD) and the second one from SalonDelMal. It looks like Universal is just throwing out posters for this movie left and right in hopes of covering up all the problems they've had with it. Not only has it been test screen terribly, but Danny Elfman was replaced recently as well. These posters aren't terrible, I'm just not impressed by a marketing campaign that involves putting out as many random posters around the world as possible. Plus, the design on these is a bit sloppy and could be better. Oh well.

Another Brand New Theatrical Trailer for Pixar's Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 Trailer

Disney has debuted another new trailer, which I think is an international trailer, for Pixar's Toy Story 3. Thanks to our friends at SlashFilm for finding it today. I didn't expect to see another trailer this quickly, since we just debuted the theatrical trailer in October and the teaser hit in May before that. There's a mix of old footage from the original two movies and lots of new footage in this, as well as a better look at the story and where it'll take us. This still looks as wonderful as ever and I can't wait for it to hit next summer. Even though this is one of only two sequels Pixar has made, it looks as great as all of their other movies. Enjoy!
