Awesome New Photo of The Fallen from Transformers 2!

Yesterday I stopped by BotCon 2009 in Pasedena to geek out on all things Transformers and I picked up Hasbro's toy version of The Fallen, the big, bad villain from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. We haven't really seen much of him yet, but this guy is a badass, I can just feel it, he's got the look and he seems really pissed off, and nothing is going to stop him when he gets to Earth. MTV has the first photo "revealing" The Fallen (even though we posted photos of him back in February) but this time it's an action shot. And for those of you just waiting to hear more about this guy, we've got a few more tidbits on him.
Shia LaBeouf revealed, in an interview with MTV, some new, sort of spoilerish details, on The Fallen and his origins. "His transportation method is unlike any other robots transportation. The way he fights is also very different and spectacular, visually stunning, really incredible. He is the main dude, he is what all of this came from. Basically, The Fallen was to us, what caveman and neanderthals were. It was the first version of this exoskeleton, it was the first version of this sentient being. That's essentially what he is, he is the origins of what they come from. He is a badass, you know, he has to be." Check out the photo and more below.
Here is the description of The Fallen from the back of the toy box: For millennia, he has waited. Thousands of years have dragged by as he recruited proxies, one by one, to scour the cosmos for the artifact he required. Now he finds he must return to the primitive, flesh-slug infected planet on which his quest began. Nothing will stand in his way this time. If need be, he will scour the surface of this disgusting world clean in the fire of his rage, and search through the blasted rubble for that which he seeks. I definitely can't wait to see more of this guy! Unfortunately, it sounds like he's only a part of the last battle in the movie.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is again directed by action film superstar Michael Bay of Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Island, and Transformers previously. The story and screenplay for the sequel was written by Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as well as Ehren Kruger (The Ring, The Brothers Grimm, Blood and Chocolate). Paramount is unleashing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both IMAX and regular theaters on June 24th this summer. We'll be there!
