Back to the Future

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads. We all know that unforgettable ending to Back to the Future, but what if there was an alternate version? Better yet, what if they took that concept one step further? Thanks to YouTube user TheHappyEntertainer, we get to see a never-before-seen alternate ending to Back to the Future that has been shielded from the public since 1985. And it is pretty damn funny. I love throwing a few of these comical videos into the mix every so often, and this is a great week to feature one.

Video removed by the user. Sorry guys!

Thanks to our friends at Cinematical for first posting this. Back to the Future is one of my favorite movies (although I don't love it as much as Peter Sciretta of SlashFilm) and I'm always excited when I see it get mentioned in modern pop culture. Plus, this truly is one of the greatest endings of all-time, so to see it made fun of it in this way is great. Thanks for the laughs YouTube user TheHappyEntertainer, I needed that!

Veryyyyy slow news week Also: I love how the aspect ratio suddenly jumps from 2.35:1 to 1.85:1, but wait, wasn't BTTF made in 1.85:1? This would've been better if the maker kept the aspect ratios consistant.

ROFL That was awesome. Normally, because of having to switch back and forth to mix dialog, these cross-overs come off as cheesy. (mmmm cheese) This one had a quick swap over and didn't have to switch back.

Thanks to everyone that liked the video! But man, there are a lot of haters on this site versus all the others where my video was posted. As for the jumping aspect ratio comment, you're absolutely right, it does jump around. Unfortunately I'm only working on mid-range software right now that doesn't like to work well with correcting that. I'm going to be investing in some Adobe software packages in a couple of months that I expect to be able to account for aspect ratio problems I've had in the past.
