Comic-Con Updates: Mike Judge, Mystery Team, and More!

While the full schedule for Comic-Con will probably be announced this week, we just can't wait to tell you know about some of the things we've heard will be going on down in San Diego. A few weeks ago we published an Early Comic-Con 2009 Buzz article with lots of early tidbits. Now we can confirm today a few things. First off, Derrick Comedy's Mystery Team will definitely be screening at Comic-Con (more details on that below). Secondly, comedy mastermind Mike Judge will be in attendance to promote Extract with his cast. And lastly, we've heard that Shane Acker's 9 will have a special sneak preview screening, too

MTV confirmed that Mike Judge will be at Comic-Con with Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis and Kristen Wiig from Extract. Judge will be screening exclusive footage from the upcoming film as part of the panel. Judge expects “a lot of smart ass answers from the actors. [The Extract cast and crew is] a happy bunch.” Additionally, on the Mystery Team front, I was told specifically that their screening is on Thursday, July 23rd at 8PM at the Horton Plaza theaters. Passes to the screening will be available at the Mystery Team booth on the show floor on either Wednesday night or Thursday before 7PM. You won't want to miss it!

Otherwise, stay tuned for more updates on Comic-Con in the next few weeks. There are only 22 days left until it all kicks off down in San Diego on July 22nd! I can't wait, it looks like another spectacular year.
