We've been slacking off on keeping up with the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World video blogs, but that's because I hope by now if you're interested in following them, you're already doing so on your own. But there is a new one posted yesterday, the fifth one, that's about adapting the comics into a movie - From Comic Book Panel to Screen. Being a very big fan of Bryan Lee O'Malley's comics that this is based on, it's a great behind-the-scenes video addressing the comics themselves and Edgar Wright's translation, especially this early on. We also get introduced to Ellen Wong, who plays Knives Chau, in this video and a bit more.
These video blogs are going to be posted every single week, so we might not feature every last one. You can subscribe to the RSS and find all of them as they arrive on the official website for the Scott Pilgrim movie: scottpilgrimthemovie.com. I'm really getting a Zack Snyder vibe this time, since Edgar Wright is actually taking some frames from the comic and shooting them exactly like they look drawn in there. As always, the more I see from this, the more excited I get! I wonder how much longer Edgar is shooting? And when we'll see the first teaser trailer? Hopefully not too much longer, I'm getting impatient! We'll keep you updated.
