Full New International Trailer for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra

Although the official US trailer is due out tomorrow, we just couldn't contain our excitement in showing you this international trailer for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. Yes, we're joking, but really, I think everyone needs to see this. I'm actually slightly more impressed by this trailer than I was by the footage we were shown at ShoWest. That's because I'm used to those bio-suits and how ridiculously cheesy they look, but for all of you who haven't seen them, have at it. There's not much more I need to say besides that I suggest you just try and go along with this, and suspend your disbelief as much as you humanly can, and maybe you'll enjoy it.

Trailer has been removed at the anxious request of Paramount Pictures. The official US trailer can now be watched online anyway.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is directed by big action filmmaker Stephen Sommers, of The Jungle Book, Deep Rising, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and Van Helsing previously. The screenplay was co-written by Stuart Beattie, of Collateral, Derailed, and 30 Days of Night previously, as well as Skip Woods, of Swordfish and Hitman previously. The movie is based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe line of toys that debuted in 1964. Paramount will premiere G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra in theaters everywhere on August 7th this year.

Special effects look mediocre, but that last bit did make me cum buckets. Looks like it's going to be a fun movie to watch.

It's going to suck, plain and simple. It will make good money cause its lame and that is what people watch now "Fast and Furious" no plot, all action type movies. The guy made the Mummy...how good could this be? Hollywood is going down the drain with all these over the top CG movies. If you watch the old Star Wars, you believe it because its actually there (model etc) now its not there...its all put in after the make the movie...you just cant believe movies (mainly sci fi) like you used to.

It's sad to say, but the new PG-13 animated webisode series takes its content a thousand times more seriously than this big budget live-action movie apparently does. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's involvement alone is the only thing that intrigues me enough to even bother keeping this on my potential "RENT" list. But hey, who knows? Maybe I'll win the lottery this summer and feel like spending $15 on a good laugh. But then, those odds aren't so good...

I rarely comment negatively before I see something, but that looks like CAAAARRRRRAAAAAAPPPPPP. CGI looks like it was polished off in a drunken haze one afternoon by some guy who considers it a side job and is blind in one eye. just an immensely huge pile of pure SHIT! marlon wayans as part of a team of "perfect" agents?? worse than that, "perfect" agents? man, I can´t believe this. and I can´t believe NO ONE made a joke about the title, c´mon! RISE of COBRA??? how in the world, HOW can I take seriously these amazing group of train wreckers?? marlon wayans, cheesy suits, cheesy effects and a title that looks like a porn parody? it makes me nervous to think that someone is dumb enough to go with this through the end. I used to like Dennis Quaid....he´s now dead for me. I never comment when I like a trailer, nor when I don´t, but this is just too much to keep my mouth shut, it´s just unbelievable, so much that it makes me angry. argh.

@13... It really does look like a live action Team America with the H2 that has rockets, the plane even looks the same. But that was 100 times better than this shit. The only reason to watch this movie is Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols. Not one penny of my money will go to this movie, I'll wait for the torrent if that.

I don't like it at all. Those suits cause the Joes to lose their individuality and unique talents that made watching the cartoon so much fun. Yes, the Joes were a team, but each was a specialist...inside and outside. These suits changes the concept into them being more superheros than soldiers. And Marlon Wayans destroys the integrity of this film...it's nearly impossible to take this guy seriously. No good.

Looks awful. Another movie made for the sake of being made under the excuse of "its a pop corn movie. Its suppose to be fun" Nasty CGI that takes aways from the excitement of the action, uninvolving, uninteresting villains or charcters (I was hopin the two ninjas would be cool but doesn't look like thats gonna happen) This movie will probably appeal to the same people who liked daredevil or ghostrider.

The last Scene ... "Two Guys in Heavy armor who look like robots dodging Missiles in a crammed street" ..... I swore I saw the same sequence in "Transformers" ... Ohh wait .... I did! What a bunch of Biters, No F***ing Originality! ....No respect for this movie at all! For all the people who cant stand visual effects as it is, they are really going to despise visual effects after this movie comes out .... "TO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS UN-HEALTHY" and this movie drowns you in it! G.I Joe can eat a ****!!!!!!!! PS: Visual Effects should only be used when necessary!!!!

horrible cgi, the eiffel tower coming down looked beyond fake, i couldve made it look more realistic using toothpicks. way more futuristic than i thought they would make it, but still might go see it in theatres

Hot chicks in tight suits with parts just barely showing, dodging missles and shit, tacky storytelling with taking down the Eiffel tower....suuuuurrreee a fun popcorn movie. I love the bio-suits though, it actually gives the excuse for why they can do all this crazy shit and not get too busted up. It'll rack in the audiences and more than half the people who've posted here will be there - well all know it too.
