Great New Promo Spot for Ron Howard's Angels and Demons

One summer movie that I'm actually very excited for is Angels & Demons, the Da Vinci Code prequel from Ron Howard starring Tom Hanks. We were shown a lengthy promo reel at ShoWest and it looked fantastic, instantly moving up on my list of most anticipated summer releases. A new promo TV spot for Angels & Demons has aired that gives us a better glimpse at how thrilling this will be, although it doesn't have all the same footage I saw that made me so excited. But I will say that even if you hated The Da Vinci Code, give this a chance, because I have a feeling it may be the Dan Brown adaptation we always wanted.

Angels & Demons is directed by prolific filmmaker Ron Howard, of everything from Willow to Backdraft to Apollo 13 to A Beautiful Mind to the previous The Da Vinci Code. The script was written by veteran screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, of Lost in Space, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, and I Am Legend most recently. This film is based on Dan Brown's popular bestselling novel of the same name. Sony Pictures will be debuting Angels & Demons in theaters everywhere on May 15th this summer.
