Laurence Fishburne Joins the Cast of Fox's Predators Reboot
Another fine actor has joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez' reboot of Predators being directed by Nimród Antal as we speak. Collider reports that Laurence Fishburne will star alongside of Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Alice Braga, Derek Mears, and Walton Goggins. Fishburne is playing a character named Noland, but that's all we know. I'm not sure why Fishburne wasn't included in the first batch of actors that were announced. I'm guessing it means he's either only in it for a cameo or a special, important role of some kind. Either way, this is awesome news. I was already excited for this movie, but I'm even more hyped now.
Laurence Fishburne is one of the few actors that I love so much that I'll usually go see a movie just because he's in it. He almost always plays an awesome character and I've got a feeling that he's going to be one of the best parts of this. I like Adrien Brody as well, but out of the entire cast for Predators (even Danny Trejo), Fishburne is my favorite. We've heard from Nimród Antal about what to expect, but I still don't know much about this reboot/remake. Fox needs to put out a teaser trailer or some photos or a poster or something! Predators is currently set to hit theaters on July 7th, 2010 next summer. We'll keep you updated on this!
