Leading Ladies Set for Woody Allen's Next Film

It looks like Woody Allen may finally be giving up on Scarlett Johansson once and for all! A few weeks ago we announced that Allen had cast Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins for the two leading males is his next untitled project, which is not the same as Whatever Works, the other film that he's currently finishing up. Variety confirms today that Allen has also cast Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto as the two leading females in the London-set film, which will shoot there this summer. We still don't know any real plot details yet, but considering this cast seems a lot like the one in Match Point, I'm guessing it's another romance of sorts.
It's hard to say I like Freida Pinto, considering Slumdog Millionaire was her first acting job ever, and she doesn't have as much screen time as some of the other actors (like Dev Patel), but I guess I'd say she was one of the better parts of Slumdog. It is pretty impressive to see her jump right on to a Woody Allen feature next, so I guess that says something about her acting talent. As for Naomi Watts, she's been starring in too many bad projects recently, from The Painted Veil to The International, although she does have a lot of talent (just look at Eastern Promises), it's just got to be put to good use in the right roles. Agreed?
