Magnet Announces Six Shooter Film Series V2 Full Line-Up
by Alex Billington
September 24, 2009
Magnet Releasing has announced the second iteration of their Six Shooter Film Series today. If you're wondering why this is big news, last year's Six Shooter included the incredible film Let the Right One In as well as Timecrimes and Big Man Japan. This year's line-up includes five films so far (with a six film on the way), including: Ong Bak 2: The Beginning, Bronson, Red Cliff, District 13: Ultimatum, and The Warlords. Magnet will be releasing the films via Video-on-Demand and in theaters starting this week and running throughout early next year (one film every month). Looks like another great selection of flicks!
Where the first Six Shooter Film Series took a broad look at smart international genre fare, Six Shooter V2 focuses specifically on action cinema, featuring some of the most exciting action films available today from around the globe. "We'd been wanting to revisit the Six Shooter Film Series, and it was clear once we started assembling this incredible crop of top notch action films that the series should pay homage to some of the masters of modern action," said Magnet/Magnolia SVP Tom Quinn. You can find out more information on this awesome new series, watch trailers, and see more on the official website: sixshooterfilmseries.com.
