Must Watch: First Red Band Trailer for Jennifer's Body!

Behind her smile, under her skin, inside her body, lives a demon. 20th Century Fox has debuted the first red band trailer for Jennifer's Body starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. This is that new teenage horror movie written by Diablo Cody and produced by Jason Reitman. STYD finally has a trailer and it looks exactly like what I was expecting - sexy, awesome, and violent as all hell. Sure it looks a bit quirky and fun, but what do you expect from Diablo Cody? As always, Megan Fox looks deliciously hot, Amanda Seyfried looks great, and so does everyone else in it. I was already excited for this, but now I'm even more excited!

Described as a Heathers-like dark comedy, Jennifer's Body tells the story of a seemingly-perfect cheerleader whose life is thrown into disarray when she gets possessed by a demon, begins eating boys in her small town, then faces off against her best friend and the Satan-worshipping band that made her evil.

Jennifer's Body is directed by Brooklyn filmmaker Karyn Kusama, of Girlfight and Aeon Flux previously. The screenplay was written by Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo Cody of only Juno previously as well as the book Candy Girl. Fox will finally bring Jennifer's Body to theaters on September 18th later this year.

Will (#9) - You know as well as anyone that they didn't cast anyone to be the same age... It's about star power and finding someone who will bring in audiences, even if she is older or younger than the age of the actual character. Megan Fox is just playing a high schooler, who cares if she is too old in real life to be one, just suspend your disbelief man!

If you've seen the leaked photos, then you'll know she's not really naked while swimming...so I guess there's little chance of that.

#25 Why wouldn't you want to see it? The movie seems like a fun, wierd teen horror movie. Megan Fox seems to be in her ace in this movie, playing not only on her hotness but also on her bad girl character ( in Transformers she seems abit off, being the good bad girl - although it also seems she is somewhat on the "good" side in this movie as well. Antiheroes ftw?). Personally I don't think she's a bad actress, just that she havn't been in a movie so far that actually suits her personality. I think this movie, however, is perfect for her. All that stuff about getting laid is boring, you don't watch a regular movie to get a booner or to wank off to, that's just silly to go through all the plotline, etc, just to see someone partially naked. Atleast I'm going to watch it because I enjoy dark humor, demons and odd movies.

Hate her if you want but I see Fox becoming a stronger actress in the future. I hope we need better actors not the same ole bullshit young talent actors on the rise today. Besides that this looks a like a fun little dark comedy.

#29 - win. Completely, absolutely, agree. #35 - right! Original!!! Rare these days. DEFINITELY not what I expected in the trailer from the cast and title... but wow. Also, anyone claiming Megan Fox can't act has me at a disadvantage because they've obviously seen her stretch her acting legs in something other than the mindless overproduced/directed drivel she's constantly typecast in. Don't get me wrong, I liked Transformers, 2 - not as much, but gauging her acting ability solely on those performances is... inaccurate me thinks. (note: I have no idea whether she can act or not, though this trailer alludes that we may actually find out.)

@15 (Alex) Yeah, I guess I just have to give up my dream of seeing a age appropriate actors. I think that's why I liked Superbad so much. They looked like most high schoolers, notably because they were 17-19 years old. I'm pretty sure 'Grease' is the movie that started the trend of casting 22-25 year olds in high school settings. Trailer looks good though. Some fun campy horror action replete with hot girls and gratuitous violence. Sounds good to me!

Let's see...in that entire thing, Ms. Fox (the most talented actress who ever was) only said skanktastic lines covered in that stupid slant she says things with. Like, if she talks like that to anyone, she'll get what she wants. I pray to god that one day she gets in a car accident that leaves her partially paralyzed and unable to form complex words. I also hope she drools. And is burned on over 70% of her body. And then finds out she can't have babies. And then gains weight. And then explodes. I hate this bitch. Diablo Cody's quirky dialog with Megan Fox's looks? It wont work. Imagine Megan Fox playing Juno. It would be horriffic. She was only casted because shes attractive and she's popular. Plus the soundtrack to this movie completely contradicts the vibe. Panic at the disco and All Time Low music in a Horror flick? Even if it's suppsoed to be campy and quirky it will just contradict everything.
