Must Watch: First Trailer for Ruben Fleischer's Zombieland!

Two great end of the world trailers in one day! Sony has also debuted the first trailer for Zombieland starring Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone. This kind of looks like if Adventureland and Shaun of the Dead and I Am Legend were mixed together into one undead comedic masterpiece. Not only does it look like it has a whole lot of great zombie kills in it, but it looks like it might have a great little plot involving Emma Stone. Does she fall in love with Jesse Eisenberg? Does that really matter? Whatever the case, I'm loving this trailer, I can't wait to see it. Killing zombies for fun?! Is there anything better?!

Columbus (Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Harrelson) doesn't have fears. If he did, he'd kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they're about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.

Zombieland is directed by first-time filmmaker Ruben Fleischer of only a few episodes of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" previously. The screenplay was written by newcomers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese best known for "The Joe Schmo Show" previously. Sony will be bringing Zombieland to theaters on October 9th this fall.

I really hope the slow-mo isn't in the movie... they overused it in the trailer to the point where it just got annoying. That said, this movie looks like great fun!

Finally someone doing something new with Zombies, getting tired of the same old apocalypse story (virus spreads, dead awake, eat brainz, action - shoot in head to kill). Atleast this movie makes it fun by making it into a comedy, they've got some great actors and some killing characters, can't wait to see it.

Done and done I'll be seeing that, looks very funny, as Terry the Saint said, looks like Dead Rising and there's nothing wrong with that. The old lady's "Zombie Kill Of The Week" was very funny, and reminiscent of A Fish Called Wanda

That looks sweet. I've been waiting for a trailer for this. I actually like slo-mo, I think it's a good way to get a better look at all the action. I hope its really bloody and gross in the movies and they just edited it down for the trailer. I wanna see that zombie splatter everywhere when it gets hit by a piano!

How does that look anything like Adventureland.....? I can see Shaun of the Dead but that comparison to Adventureland is a stretch, yes it has the name land in the title and has a star of that film, but that's where I'd say it totally ends in similarity...

I think this looks like crap. Maybe it's the trailer, but it looks stupid, too slapstick. Zombie comedy is not easy, in fact only 'Shaun of the Dead' and to a lesser degree 'DotD' pulled it off successfully. This just looks dumb.
