Second Awesome Clash of the Titans Trailer Leaks Out Early

Clash of the Titans Trailer

I just received an email with this YouTube link to the second brand new Clash of the Titans trailer that's supposed to play in front of Avatar later this week. It's pretty much an extended version of the first teaser trailer, using that same rock song and lots of the same scenes. However, we also get more dialogue, more action, and an epic glimpse of the Kraken at the end. I still think this looks as awesome as it did in that first teaser. I'm really impressed by everything I've seen so far, it really looks like Louis Leterrier has made a kick ass action movie that'll live up to the original. Watch this quick, as it'll probably be pulled down very soon!

Watch the second trailer for Louis Leterrier's Clash of the Titans:

Trailer removed at the request of Warner Bros. It'll be out later this week, so stay tuned!

Follows Perseus and his quest to battle Medusa and the Kraken in order to save the Princess Andromeda.

Clash of the Titans is directed by French filmmaker Louis Leterrier, of Unleashed, Transporter 2, and The Incredible Hulk previously. The screenplay was originally written by Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark) then later revised by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (both of Crazy/Beautiful, The Tuxedo, Aeon Flux). This is a remake of Desmond Davis' original 1981 classic movie of the same name. Warner Brothers will be bringing Clash of the Titans to regular and 3D theaters everywhere starting on April 2nd. Still excited?

hale on Dec 13, 2009

Liam Neeson looks Good as zeus, there looks like plenty of action The moving Picture show has done VFX for Clash of the Titans 2010 things have moved on since Ray harryhausen. 🙂

Cineprog on Dec 13, 2009

"Damn the gods" is a far better tagline than "Titans will clash." Now the promotions are showing some effort.

James on Dec 13, 2009

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes as clashing gods.... COUNT ME IN!

Andy on Dec 13, 2009

'Leaked' on the eve of another highly anticipated FX spectacle, eh? My, my...what will they think of next? Still, looks a good popcorn night out for shits and giggles. And the the Kraken does rock.

i cant wait to see it now they got a new tagline "Damn The Gods"

tazz on Dec 13, 2009

Simply awesome. I see no reason to NOT see this movie at this point. And 17 is right, "Damn the Gods" is wayyy better than the old tagline.

Syphous on Dec 13, 2009

I am a HUGE Ray Harryhausen fan, and this is coming out only six days after my birthday. Clearly, someone up there likes me. This looks like it's going to be so much fun!

Tim Monforton on Dec 13, 2009

Has HIT written all over it. All I need now is an A_Team trailer to see what Neeson will be like in that.

Bash on Dec 13, 2009

The first trailer disappointed me, but this more than makes up for it. Can't wait

Rorschach90 on Dec 13, 2009

The trailer was put toghether amazingly but there was barely any dialogue so I have no idea if the scripts anygood. The action looks intense though.

PJ H on Dec 13, 2009

This movies second movie trailer here makes the movie look 100 time better then that first trailer that was released for it a short while back ago on here!.

Sean on Dec 13, 2009

Cody on Dec 13, 2009

Nicholas on Dec 13, 2009

Why do I get the feeling I've seen to much already. It looks like they're giving everything away, in the trailer, and leaving nothing for the movie. I hope I see some surprises in the theater.

Typhoon on Dec 13, 2009

with everything they're showing this better push a run time of 2.5-3 hours otherwise I have no hope for it.

JP on Dec 13, 2009

Better than the Avatar trailers, that's for darn sure.

GoodSir on Dec 13, 2009

"Damn the gods" is a far better tagline than "Titans will clash." Agreed! This was awesome, can't wait!

Sabes on Dec 13, 2009

*Jesus ! MY PANTS O_O

NeoSlyfer on Dec 13, 2009

"Titans will clash" i felt was the only downfall of the last trailer. This one definitely made me wet, with more dialogue, more action and creature effects. Epic. I can't wait. "Damn the gods"

Shaun on Dec 13, 2009

I usually go,"Not another remake.....", but I have to say that this looks awesome all on it's own. I will definitely hit the theaters for this. I hope it lives up to the excitement in my head because I hate wasting money on crappy movies at the theater.

arjones on Dec 13, 2009

WOW!!! That's something. Man, I hope this movie will break all the box-office records. It deserves that from what we've seen until now. But it could fall... not a chance!!!

me on Dec 13, 2009

looks real good....might actually be a good remake

This how a movie based on legends and Gods should be done. I would love to see these stuff in God Of War: The Movie. EPICNESS

Fisherr on Dec 13, 2009

They should step away from superhero films for a bit and focus on Gods, monsters, and mythology.

The Music sucks so much it almost takes every fun out of the otherwise impressive action.

captain subtext on Dec 13, 2009

wow captain subtext you're obviously a little slow (in the head that is).... the music made that trailer..... you're an idiot

ClerksFan on Dec 13, 2009

Why - WHY!? - did they show the Kraken? What the hell kind of idiot screws their own movie by spoiling one of the better moments of the film by revealing something like that? They didn't show off much else aside from just quick cuts of the other monsters, you never see Medusa's face, but they spend the last ten seconds on a held shot of the Kraken roaring... What the fuck... They need to take movies like this out of the hands of the marketing people. I highly doubt any sane director would pull some shit like that.

Squiggly_P on Dec 13, 2009

Darn I was too late. Warner Bros took it down. 🙁

Bry from Chi on Dec 13, 2009

The trailer is definitly badass and i cross my fingers and pray for this movie to be a sucess and i don't say that because the director is french and me tooo :p there's some incredible imagery in this movie and even if the original can be outpast in my heart this one seems to be heading for a homerun in term of badass! This is gonna be freakin hugeee! Can't wait :p

#58 Check out 1:44, you kinda do but it's side on and not really close up

Dean on Dec 13, 2009

Movie should be amazing. But this trailer was terrible

Dan W on Dec 13, 2009

#58 This movie is meant to stir the cult classic following of the original. This may be one movie that is remade to bring the special effects to the level envisioned when first made. The actual story isn't revealed much so this trailer stirs the cult following and inspires others. The trailer did not mention Calibos the actual storyline of the movie. This trailer doesn't screw the movie.

David on Dec 13, 2009

Looks AWESOME and Holy Shit the KRAKEN scene is going to be EPIC. You know I still find it pretty funny that this movie only cost about 70mill to make and still puts the 180mill G.I Joe to shame. Just shows you don't need a huge budget to have impressive CGI.

wrongturn687 on Dec 13, 2009

I'm not convinced why everyone thinks this is going to be an awesome film?...it's a re-hash of the original which was awesome and an epic with amazing stop frame effects. Everything is so CG today and CG can look so bad at times that it looks too much and unbelievable. I will watch the film but I'm not holding my breath over it, it is going to have to convince me and if it does I'll eat my hat with baked beans

spacesurfer on Dec 13, 2009

Film Fan on Dec 13, 2009

I said it before and I'll say it again. As long as that stupid rock music isn't in the movie then it will be an epic!

Ezza72 on Dec 13, 2009

RelEaSE the KraaaaKeN!!!!!!!

gray!2 on Dec 13, 2009

There better be a good score for this film, rock and rap have no place in film.

Xerxex on Dec 13, 2009

I cant wait!

TediusTed on Dec 13, 2009

About the music in the trailer, I think it works here! Just for the trailer that is!

TediusTed on Dec 13, 2009

anyone else think the Kraken looked a bit like a Locust from Gears of War?

WO0t on Dec 13, 2009

the kraken did look like a locust with tentacles...but my first thought was a full-grown Clover. Can't wait for this movie 🙂

AD on Dec 13, 2009

The Kraakhead awakes!! Looks like a good watch on the big telly screen. Gods were more exciting before Jesus.

Crapola on Dec 13, 2009

I hate CG-filled films but this looks good.

ryderup on Dec 14, 2009

First of all good movie doesnt require big bugdet and big budget doesnt necessarily means a good movie. the dudes should learn to do better films with moderate budgets and stop giving out "three fig million dollar budget movie bla bla bla" lines...cause we want to view films that deliver if not more at least our moneys worth when we see them in theatres. i loved the original Clash of the Titans will see in again this week to prepare myself for the apparent visual effect show when i watch the new one. but this new edition shallnot cast a shadow on the original.. cause come on guys have done it 20+ (29 to be exact :P) years ago and done it perfectly... i hate when everything is done in CG it loses that relatiable aspect, that believability when done all in CG take An American Werewolf in London it has the perfect transformation and it looks genuine. why they dont work on that??? take District 9 more recent example. they could have done every effect CG but the director has made a choice to correct the Props with cg. and imo he has given a very and succesfull decision. i believe Clash of the Titan is gonna be a very good two hour watch. it has a very powerfull predecessor to better but from what i have seen it may be just as good...it has a solid cast nice visuals lets see if all could merge and complete the story 😀 PS: i agree with the most of you on regard to the Kraken issue.. i understand they want to attract more viewers to the saloons but it sure would have made a stronger influence when heard from a friend "holy shit man, you should have seen the Kraken!!! wow" this would attract even more..just show some part, just a tiny bit so that we cannot make out its size, we get caught unprepared for the full massive assault on the big screen... so lets wait a bit more 😀

burak "Daequitas" on Dec 14, 2009

To all the people who keep moaning about all the CG, shut up! What are they supposed to do/use......finger puppets! Looks good, though a shame they showed the Kraken!

marty on Dec 14, 2009

I really don't understand the decision regarding the cheesy rock music that's been allotted for these trailers. Looks great otherwise! Beats claymation!!

bozo on Dec 14, 2009

oh dear.......... i cant see it! Warner Brothers is way to fussy!
