good ep!!!! Is it just me or does a Captain America movie seem past its prime?

I think that a captain america movie is totally irrelevant at this point. Think about it. When spiderman landed on a giant american flag in S3 it was the hokiest thing EVER! how can you make an entire movie about a man who wears a flag as a costume. LAME LAME LAME LAME LAME

I think that if cap is irrelevant then so is america, which would be sad news to me. Great, funny, enjoyable podcast!

I'm sorry but COME ON. Captain America is a timeless classic and deserves more respect than he is given in this day and age. Those of you who think he is irrelevant don't know his story and i wont waste my time on small minded people trying to explain it. He could kick your asses THATS FOR SURE! Ps. Fun cast. A little long for my taste, BUT i listened to it all so i guess you're doing something right! Cap OUT

Am I the only person who finds it funny that the two people who don't want a Captain America movie are called dr.freeze and super.man? Hahaha. I think cap is bomb and it's be a killed movie. Having said that, it's obvious that he is a little hokey today. I think if handled correctly, Cap could become a viable Marvel movie character. I can't wait.

... Great episode guys... I'm really enjoying the Recently Watched section, mostly because I can agree with your reviews of those movies... Keep up the good work guys... ...

This is awesome! I started listening last week and this is definitely an "upping of the game". You guys seem very natural and fresh. LOVE IT! don't give the slightest shit about Captain America and I probably wont ever. I want to listen to the first 2 episodes, where can i find them? I don't see them in the podcast section. Guess i will have to trek back through the older pages. Will try to tune in for midnight Watchmen show! Goodnight and Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Remember to leave us a voicemail or send an email with your comments and questions. Love the Captain America talk, though I'm involved in a passionate affair with Lady Liberty so my bias is evident.

Excellent show gents, and as I'm writing this, I'm trying my darndest to figure out how to listen to the live bit tonight, since I too will be at the midnight showing (IMAX in Denver, not in CS). Also wanted to join in on the Cap America discussion; I'm not the biggest comic nerd, so anyone is welcome to correct me, but I was under the impression that Captain America was killed off recently mostly because he was becoming irrelevant. His character just wasn't playing well with our current situation.

So, I watched the Big Man Japan trailer, and I am intrigued! Of course it is going to be completely campy! Of course it is going to be corny! I think I am going to like it. But then, I liked You Don't Mess With the Zohan!! Oh, and I didn't recognize the name Neal McDonough. However I certainly recognize his face. I think he could do it. I just hope that the script is good, and they put the effort into making Captain America that they have with the other Marvel gems.
