New Line's Inspirational Sports Biopic Wins One for 'Mulkey'
Everyone knows you're supposed to win one for "The Gipper." But soon sports teams might be inspired to win one for "Mulkey" as Variety reports Mike Tollin (Radio, Summer Catch) will direct Mulkey, the story of a firefighter named Louis Mulkey who spent his spare time as an assistant high school basketball coach in South Carolina before he and eight of his brave colleagues perished in a 2007 fire. After his death the local fire department presented the team with a custom memorial fire helmet which was placed on the bench for each of the team's games in the following season which saw them win their first ever state championship.

Interview: The Book of Eli Directors Albert and Allen Hughes
About a month back, before Avatar had even hit theaters, I met up with and interviewed brothers Albert and Allen Hughes, the two filmmakers behind Menace II Society, Dead Presidents, From Hell, and now The Book of Eli. I really wanted to talk with them because after seeing Book of Eli I had so much to ask them about the style and the ideas in it and so on. The movie looks great, the story in it is awesome, and I had a blast watching it, so of course I wanted to talk to these guys. In the complete interview we also talk about where they've been, how they got Denzel Washington, and their filmmaker inspirations. Read on!

Marc Forster Adapting Robert Ludlum's Chancellor Manuscript
After the Bourne series took off to create a new style of action films, author Robert Ludlum's library of titles made him the Philip K. Dick of politically charged action thrillers as more than a few of his books have been optioned for a jump to the big screen. Go ahead and toss another one into the ring as Variety reports director Marc Forster is attached to direct The Chancellor Manuscript, based on the 1977 novel of the same name about the "alleged" secret files of J. Edgar Hoover, their disappearance after his death, and how they could be used to backmail the powerful to do the bidding of those with the secrets. Sounds fascinating.

Jenna Fischer Joins The Farrelly Brothers' Comedy Hall Pass
With all the sexy, half-naked women on the covers of magazines who look like they were picked up straight from the beach, it's refreshing to get an actress every now and then who is classically beautiful. For a long time, Kate Winslet has taken post at the forefront of my mind for resident, classically beautiful lady, but recently, Jenna Fischer (of NBC's "The Office") has nudged her way into that category, so I couldn't be happier with THR's report that Fischer has signed on to star in the Farrelly Brothers' comedy Hall Pass. She will play Owen Wilson's wife who gives him a "hall pass" to get himself some sexual action on the side.

Check These Out: Six Brand New Badass Photos from A-Team
20th Century Fox just dropped off six new photos for The A-Team in my inbox. One of these, the one with the huge explosion in the background, has been making its way around the web earlier today. However, the others we haven't ever seen before (even in the trailer), including a good look at Jessica Biel as Lt. Sosa. Of course there are plenty of other shots of Bradley Cooper, Liam Neeson, and Sharlto Copley. The first teaser trailer for The A-Team debuted quite recently and can be seen here. Although I wasn't too excited early on, this is getting better by the minute. So check out these new photos below and get excited for The A-Team!

Jonah Hill Says 21 Jump Street Movie Could Shoot This Year
Are you ready to go back to high school? ComingSoon just talked with Jonah Hill about his upcoming big screen version of the 80's TV show 21 Jump Street. Back in December it was announced that Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller would be making the jump to live-action and directing this. "We're going to shoot it this year I think," Hill told them. "We hired directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller who directed Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and are friends of mine. They are incredible. Their take on the movie is incredible... It's about [young rookie] cops who go back to high school." Read on!

Jackie Earle Haley Might Still Play Sinestro in Green Lantern?
A few days ago it was announced that Peter Sarsgaard would be playing the villain Dr. Hector Hammond in DC Comics' Green Lantern movie. It was our assumption from this news that Hammond would be the primary villain in the movie instead of someone else like Sinestro, another villain character who was in the original script and even rumored to be played by Jackie Earle Haley. Well, Drew McWeeny of HitFix wrote an interesting article yesterday suggesting that Haley may still be in Green Lantern as Sinestro, not as a secondary full-time villain, but as a more minor character who will eventually become a villain in a sequel.

Watch This: Second Official Trailer for I Love You Phillip Morris
Don't worry, I know this isn't going to be for everyone. I Love You Phillip Morris is an independent film starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor as gay lovers. I'm saying that right now so you're not shocked watching this trailer. It's actually a pretty good movie (read my review) and I suggest seeing it. I Love You Phillip Morris first showed at Sundance last year and eventually played in Cannes as well (which is where I first saw it). We featured an early trailer for this last July, but this is the official US trailer that is being used to promote its March opening in the US (via Collider). Watch it below and let us know what you think after?

Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2 Getting Released in Digital IMAX!
Paramount announced today that IMAX will be releasing a digital version of Iron Man 2 in IMAX theaters starting simultaneously with the release of the movie on May 7th. Since it was not shot with IMAX cameras, it will be upconverted using their DRM technology. “The success of the first Iron Man movie catapulted the franchise from the comic books to theatre screens, and we’re excited that the IMAX format will offer fans an even more immersive way to experience the sequel,” said Tim Connors, COO of Marvel Studios. As great as it is to see movies on IMAX screens, it's only truly worth it if was shot in IMAX or uses 3D (like Avatar).

First Official Poster for Kevin Smith's Cop Out Lands Online
Yep, they actually used the same tagline that was suggested to Kevin Smith on Twitter: "Rock out with your Glock out!" IGN has debuted the first official poster for Kevin Smith's Cop Out obviously starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. Yes, I know, no one wants to see this movie after watching the trailer, but I still want to see it and maybe there's a few others out there who will appreciate this. It's not the best poster, it's simple, it's got Willis and Morgan standing there looking like cops, and that's it. Although it is at least it's a huge improvement over the Zack and Miri poster, I have to say. Anyway, check out the poster below!

Paul Greengrass Takes Us Behind-the-Scenes of Green Zone!
Universal has debuted a badass behind-the-scenes featurette for Green Zone starring Matt Damon and directed by Paul Greengrass. We've all seen the first trailer and yes it looks a lot like Bourne. Greengrass even explains early on that they wanted this to contain most of the elements of the Bourne movies (except it's set in Iraq instead, I guess). This is actually a great featurette because it talks a lot more about the story which is what we got so little of in those early trailers. It looks really intense and packed with all kinds of action, which is exactly what I'm looking forward to seeing. Looks like it could be pretty awesome. Enjoy!

Joe Johnston's 'Big Plans' for Captain America & Jurassic Park 4
With The Wolfman finally hitting theaters in just under a month, it means we're probably going to start hearing a lot from Joe Johnston about Captain America and other projects he's working on. Box Office Magazine recently talked with Johnston and got some big scoops out of him about both Captain America and, surprise surprise, Jurassic Park 4 (and it's good news this time). According to Johnston, there are some big plans for both of these projects, and both of them will be "unlike anything you've seen." As for Cap, well, here's what he says: "It's not going to be a Captain America that you expect. It's something different."
