Warner Bros Officially Announces 20 Upcoming IMAX Movies
Big news this morning, if you're a fan of IMAX. Warner Bros and IMAX have announced an agreement to release 20 upcoming movies in the next three years. The press release (via ComingSoon) only contains brief info on what's coming up, including movies scheduled through 2011 (see below) as well as "an additional 15 films over the course of 2011, 2012 and 2013, including Gravity, Dark Shadows, Fury Road, Batman 3, and Superman." I'm a fan of IMAX in terms of screensize and the "experience." I just hope that this means we'll see a few more movies that are actually shot in IMAX, not all converted with their shabby DMR technology.

Ang Lee's The Life of Pi Adaptation is Closer Than We Thought?
The last we heard about the long-gestating adaptation of Yann Martel's novel Life of Pi was that director Ang Lee had finally cracked the structure of the story, but still had to figure out exactly how he was going to shoot it. At that time there didn't seem to be any rush because Lee said the project was still two years away. Well, it looks like there's a chance he might get to work a little sooner and in 3-D no less. indieWIRE reports that Gil Netter, who produced The Blind Side is already scouting locations in Taiwan and Pondicherry, India for what will be a $70 million fantasy adventure with plenty of VFX, including a plethora of CG animals.

First Look: James McAvoy in Robert Redford's The Conspirator
Our good friend Anthony Breznican of USA Today has debuted a wonderful new first look feature for Robert Redford's new historical drama The Conspirator, which focuses on the alleged Confederate sympathizer Mary Surratt. James McAvoy is just one of many fine actors starring in this, along with Robin Wright as Surratt (top left photo), Justin Long as Nicholas Baker (not seen), Evan Rachel Wood as Anna Surratt (not seen), Alexis Bledel as Sarah Weston (lower right photo), and Toby Kebbell as assassin John Wilkes Booth (lower left photo). McAvoy plays a Union solder and Surratt's reluctant lawyer Frederick Aiken. Take a look!

Sharon Says Ozzy Osbourne Biopic is Definitely Coming Soon
There's been some talk of a biopic focusing on Black Sabbath frontman and perpetually confused family man Ozzy Osbourne for years now. Almost seven years ago the project was supposedly near a greenlight, but since then only random television shows featuring different members of the Osbournes have manifested, not to mention a supposed documentary on Ozzy from his own son Jack. But according to The Dish Rag, it looks like the biopic is in active development as wife Sharon Osbourne opened up about the status of the project recently while promoting "Celebrity Apprentice", saying: "There's about to be a big announcement."

Casting Tidbits: Paul Reubens, Sean Astin, Bryce Dallas Howard
You don't know the power of the Casting Tidbits! First, Deadline reports that Bryce Dallas Howard has joined the cast of The Help, an adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's 2009 novel. The film, which already has Emma Stone and Viola Davis attached in key roles, will be written and directed by Tate Taylor and tells the story of a young journalist who comes home to write a tell-all of what it was like to be an African-American maid in pre-Civil Rights Mississippi. Howard would play the antagonistic role of Hilly Holbrook, the beehive hairdo-wearing busybody who is cruel to the black maids and just generally rubs everyone the wrong way.

Director Scott Cooper Wants Brad Pitt for 'Hatfields & McCoys'
You'd think the most famous family feud would be that of the game show variety, but survey says no as it seems perhaps the most famous and outrageous family feud lies in history between The Hatfields & The McCoys which is on its way to a feature film adaptation and Hollywood Elsewhere reports Robert Duvall revealed that Crazy Heart director Scott Cooper has contacted both he and Brad Pitt for roles in the film. Scripted by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Benjamin Button) the story would recount the famous stories from American folklore about these feuding families, who would put the Capulets and the Montagues to shame.

Louis Leterrier Will Not Return for Clash of the Titans Sequel
After making a whopping $380 million at the box office with much thanks to a hasty post-production 3-D conversion to lure in fans of the new 3-D trend in Hollywood, it was pretty much a no-brainer that a sequel would be on the way to the brainless flick Clash of the Titans. Well, Deadline confirms that Warner Bros will indeed be crafting a follow-up to the mythological beast-battling-movie and while Sam Worthington and almost every other surviving cast member will return for the sequel, director Louis Leterrier will not be directing this next one. Depending on whether you liked the film or not, this could be good or bad news.

Badass New Featurette for Danny Trejo as Cuchillo in Predators
Oh f*ck yes! Fox has debuted a new featurette for the character of Cuchillo, played by Danny Trejo, in Nimród Antal's Predators reboot. We've been featuring a few of these kind of videos before (here and here) and the more we get to see, the better this looks. However, this one may just be one of the best, as Danny Trejo is one certified badass and his character of Cuchillo, who is part of the "most ruthless drug cartel in Mexico," looks like he's not going to give up without a hell of a fight. This new video is from the official site (which I still really dig) but can be seen in full below. Definitely watch this quick featurette!

This Week on Netflix Instant: Serpico, Machinist, Delgo & More
This week's Netflix Instant brings a combination of unique films, but this installment pales in comparison to the amount of programming from Viacom (including networks like MTV & Comedy Central). Though we don't focus on TV, keep your eye out for major series additions like "The State," "Beavis & Butt-Head," and "Reno 911," not to mention stand-up from comedians like Demetri Martin, Patton Oswalt, John Oliver, and many more. On the film front, our picks include a dangerously skinny Christian Bale, a great coming-of-age flick from Barry Levinson, and a film with the very worst opening ever. So what's in our queue this week?

Watch This: New Internet-Only Trailer for Pixar's Toy Story 3
In addition to that new poster earlier today, Disney has debuted a brand new internet-only (as in, you won't see it anywhere else) trailer for Pixar's Toy Story 3, which features a bit more action and a fun little "on the run" concept to it. We've seen quite a few trailers for this sequel already (one in November, another in February) and they're getting better every time. Although I know what happens in the movie, they're doing a very good job of covering up the actual story, which I think is great to experience in theaters, so I definitely won't be spoiling it. I've said enough already, so do yourself a favor and just watch this new trailer. Enjoy!

New Official Poster for Jonah Hex & Trailer Hits on Thursday
I feel like this is one of those weeks where we've been debuting nothing but poster after poster without any trailers to follow. This time, though, we've got this new poster for Jonah Hex today, and a trailer to come on Thursday. Jonah Hex is the upcoming comic book / western / action / supernatural movie based on a DC Comics character that is being directed by first-time live-action director Jimmy Hayward. Although Warner Bros released a teaser poster at Comic-Con last year, we haven't seen much besides one photo since then. So here's the new poster, with some badass gatling gun action, and stick around for the trailer this Thursday.
