Big Casting Tidbits: Robert De Niro, Matt Damon & Many More
Mama always said, "Casting Tidbits was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." First up, Robert De Niro may reunite with Sean Penn for the first time since they worked together on the disastrous comedy We're No Angels. The potential reunion would have them star with Frances McDormand in This Must Be the Place, the next film from writer/director Paolo Sorrentino (of Il Divo). The story follows a retired rock star who decides to track down and kill the ex-Nazi war criminal who executed his father. Though we know De Niro is up for a character named Mordecai Levi, we don't know much else yet.

Worth Watching: US Trailer for Historical Drama 'John Rabe'
Strand Releasing has the official US trailer for John Rabe, a true-story account of a German businessman who saved more than 200,000 Chinese during the Nanjing massacre in 1937. This docudrama stars German actor Ulrich Tukur (The White Ribbon) as John Rabe and Daniel Brühl (Fredrick Zoller of Inglourious Basterds) as well as Steve Buscemi, one of the few Americans in the cast (who you'll see in the trailer). I'm a sucker for war movies and while this is less of a war movie and more of a drama about a great man who saves many lives, kind of like Schindler's List, it still does look fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Darren Bousman Directing Psychotic Killer Movie 'Ninety' Next
Although we haven't seen any trailers yet for former Saw director Darren Bousman's new horror remake of Mother's Day, producers on another project he's attached to seem anxious to already announce that new project. THR states that Bousman will next direct another new horror film called Ninety written by Scott Milam, who also wrote the Mother's Day script. The plot in the film follows a psychotic killer hoping to set a record by committing 90 murders. Whoa! The film will shoot during the summer in New Mexico in 2D and then be converted to 3D (of course). I don't know what you guys think, but this sounds like it could be crazy.

Interview: The Losers' Badass Leader - Jeffrey Dean Morgan!
About a year ago I talked with Watchmen's The Comedian, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who despite some appearances in an occasional rom-com (e.g. The Accidental Husband), I've recently come to really love as an actor. It was my honor to catch up with Morgan again to talk about The Losers, a new comic book movie where he plays another badass character - Clay, the leader and Operational Control of the ex-CIA team The Losers. Our conversation ranges from his career to how awesome it was to shoot this movie and much more. I always love talking with Morgan, he's a great guy to interview and a genuinely nice person as well. Enjoy!

Exclusive: Two Glowing Scott Pilgrim Test Screening Reviews
A week ago, Universal ran a test screening of Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in Los Angeles (presumably to confirm that a PG-13 rating would still work with audiences). Two movie fans and readers of the site made it to the screening and decided to write up quick reviews because they both loved the movie so much. In fact, one of them says that it's their favorite movie of the year, even over Kick-Ass, and I don't even know how finished or unfinished the version they saw was. We don't normally publish reviews like this, but I wanted to make an exception today because their reactions to Scott Pilgrim were both so extremely positive.

Check These Out: Four New Stills from Chris Nolan's Inception
We don't know when the next trailer for Chris Nolan's Inception will be arriving (I'm guessing sometime early this summer?), so to hold you over, we're featuring these four new photos that have popped up various places over the last few days. SlashFilm culled them all together and cleaned them up a bit, so I owe them some thanks. Coincidentally we last featured four new photos from Inception just last week, so it looks like they keep hitting in batches of four. Seen in these photos are Leonardo DiCaprio as Cobb, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Arthur, and Ellen Page as Ariadne. I think a few of them were found in the Mind Crime viral game.

Paul Rudd Circling Two Different Murderous Dark Comedies
You can always expect Paul Rudd to amp up the laughs in any comedy, and it looks like a couple of flicks just might benefit from his presence as Production Weekly says that Rudd is circling roles in two different comedies. The first is Better Living Through Chemistry, the directorial debut of writing team David Posamentier and Geoff Moore, which Vulture says is about a pharmacist stuck in a hopeless marriage, who finds new passion for life in an affair with a trophy wife who introduces him to prescription drugs. When they begin to plot her husband's murder, things begin to crumble. More details on the second film below.

Bobcat Goldthwait to Direct an Ass-Kicking Western 'Rio Malo'
Who would've thought that a goofy voiced comedian who appeared in a couple of Police Academy movies would move on to direct a darkly hilarious, and wholly underrated flick like World's Greatest Dad? Bobcat Goldthwait did just that with a film that was quite buzzed at last year's Sundance (you can also check it out on Netflix Instant). But now Production Weekly says he's looking to direct an ass-kicking western he's been developing called Rio Malo (which is Spanish for Bad River, so it'll be serious). Plot details are sparse but SlashFilm found out it deals with "crooked cops, unavenged murders, injustice, discrimination and drag."

Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones Will Return for Men in Black 3D
The last time we heard about Men in Black 3, it was one of two potential projects that could become Will Smith's very next film. Though we still don't know if MiB3 will definitely be his next project, Showbiz411 caught up with franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld who told them that Smith is already signed on and, somewhat surprisingly, Tommy Lee Jones will be returning for the sequel which, as can be assumed with any upcoming blockbuster, will be in 3D. More than likely it'll be MiB3 that will take precedence as Sony recently lost Spider-M4n as their big Memorial Day 2011 movie, and this threequel would fit in there nicely.

Watch This: Fun Little Featurette About Iron Man 2's Villains
"I'm gunna go kick Iron Man's ass." Since we're down to the last few weeks, or rather the last few days (16 left for the US), before Iron Man 2 hits theaters, Paramount is rolling out their final big marketing push, which includes lots of new TV marketing like this little video. Entertainment Tonight (via SlashFilm) has aired a fun new 1-minute featurette for Iron Man 2 that's all about the villains - all two of them. The first one is Whiplash, played by Mickey Rourke, and the second is Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell. By now I'm just anxious to see this movie. I really can't wait, it looks so awesome! Check out the video below.

TGB Episode 7: Episode Not Yet Rated (Guest: William Goss)
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim & Jeremy are joined by William Goss from Cinematical and eFilmCritic.com to talk about their Picks of the Week, the newest DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the week, a couple of new trailers for James Mangold's Knight and Day and Aaron Schneider's Get Low, and also about how they don't particularly care for American Beauty. The main topic of the episode was a discussion of the ratings of films and how the MPAA often takes things too much into their own hands, plus how director's dumb down their flicks (in honor of The Losers, in theaters this Friday). Listen to the latest episode below!

The Legendary Leonard Nimoy is Retiring from Acting for Good
It's pretty hard to imagine a time when someone wearing pointy ears or splitting their fingers into a V-shape salutation didn't immediately make you think of Spock, but pop culture just wouldn't be the same without the iconic Vulcan. Furthermore, Spock wouldn't be the science fiction and fanboy favorite that he is today without Leonard Nimoy. The 79-year-old actor has played Spock intermittently from his introduction in the original Star Trek series in 1966, to his most recent appearance in J.J. Abrams film franchise reboot last year. However, Nimoy recently revealed to The Toronto Sun, that he will be retiring from acting for good.
