EW Confirms That Adam McKay is in Talks to Direct The Boys
Although he didn't get that Anchorman sequel, there's still another project on the horizon. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that director Adam McKay is now in talks to helm the "extremely violent" comic book movie The Boys, based on Garth Ennis' series. This was actually first reported by Film School Rejects last month, but we have been waiting for official confirmation, just because it seems a little crazy. McKay is the director of Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and The Other Guys. He is talented, but seems like an odd fit for an violent superhero movie, but maybe he'll show us that he can do more than comedy.

Shyamalan & Bruce Willis Back Again in a Secret New Project
Back at the turn of the century, a collaboration between M. Night Shyamalan and Bruce Willis on The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable made for two of the most intriguing and surprising films of the time. Now it looks like the two will reunite as Heat Vision reports Willis is attached to a new super secret project that Shyamalan is quietly shopping around Hollywood. While rumors would normally jump to a potential sequel to Unbreakable, also attached are Bradley Cooper and Gwyneth Paltrow, so it doesn't seem too likely. But it does seem like Shyamalan is up to his old tricks, but hopefully this won't suck like The Happening.

First Look: Jason Momoa as Conan the Barbarian Official Photo
Ooooh it's... Conan. The first official photo of actor Jason Momoa ("Baywatch", "North Shore", "Stargate: Atlantis") as the legendary Conan the Barbarian in Marcus Nispel's Conan has been found on the site for Nu Boyana Film Studios (via ScreenRant). It's not much, it's actually even less than the Thor first look. It's pretty much just a shot of a buffed up Jason Momoa with some epicly long hair and that's about it; you can barely make out the stairs behind him, but I want to see more from this first! The good news is that it looks like this guy has almost as much muscle as Arnold did in his movie. So check it out then speak your mind!

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas Set Photos + Patton Oswalt
There are plenty of fans already anticipating the return of Kal Penn and John Cho in the holiday comedy A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas from director Todd Strauss-Schulson, who became my newest best friend after a minor scuffle on Twitter. Well, now thanks to the power of Twitter and a good friend being at the right place at the right time, we have the first set pictures (seen below) from the comedy which started filming today at a mall up in Michigan. In addition, thanks to a Twitter update from Cho, we've learned that Patton Oswalt was on set filming a small role. And another tweet confirms that it's also being shot in 3D.

Watch: Amir Bar-Lev's Doc 'The Tillman Story' Official Trailer
The Weinstein Company has unveiled the official trailer (via Yahoo) for the powerful and heart-wrenching documentary The Tillman Story which delves deep into the story of soldier and former football player Pat Tillman, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2004. For those that haven't heard of Tillman or don't know the details surrounding his death and the government cover-up surrounding it, this new trailer does a great job of explaining pretty much everything. Brandon saw this at Sundance and gave it 8.5 out of 10, saying: "It's a film that needs to be seen by as many people as possible. A maddening experience, but a necessary one."

Story Details for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides!
Today is the official start of production on Disney's high seas adventure sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Though we've kept you updated on the growing cast, we haven't had much info on the story in this fourth franchise installment other than Disney secretly snagging the rights to the book written Tim Powers that shares its title with the sequel. However, it seems Powers' book may only be providing legal ground for Disney to use the Fountain of Youth as a plot device in this adventure, as the official story details unveiled today don't seem to follow the story or structure from the novel. You can see for yourself below!

Official Photos of Seth Rogen & Jay Chou in The Green Hornet
Not to be confused with WB's Green Lantern, Sony has finally debuted two official photos (via Yahoo) for The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chou, as a primer for the trailer which debuts tonight. Although we've seen various photos from the set and crappy low res videos as well, this is our first good look at Rogen and Chou as the two masked crimefighters. Now, I'm not one of those people who hates Rogen and just can't stand hearing about this movie at all, but I am more interested in seeing what Gondry has to offer. I'm looking forward to seeing the trailer tonight, but until that premieres, check out these photos below!

Rumor: Marvel to Introduce New Characters with Short Films?
While the studios seem to be more concerned with keeping the heavy hitters of the comic book universe like Batman, Spider-Man, Superman and the X-Men as the most prominent feature film subjects, we found out back in April that Marvel Studios was making a push to develop smaller scale movies featuring third tier characters like Dr. Strange (seen above), Luke Cage, another superhero ensemble known as the Power Pack and more. Now Latino Review has word that Marvel plans to introduce some of these characters to audiences by making 10-minute short films that will play in front of their tentpole feature length films.

Casting Tidbits: Simon Pegg, Demi Moore and Linda Cardellini
I have so much strength in me you have no idea. I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine. I would say 'that's that', Mattress Man. First, starting as a rumor at TrekWeb followed by confirmation via Twitter, Simon Pegg himself revealed that he's the new voice behind the brave pint-sized mouse warrior Reepicheep in The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which just unveiled its first trailer last week. Pegg is actually replacing Bill Nighy who was announced as a replacement for Eddie Izzard (who voiced the character in Prince Capsian) in some news we missed back in February.

Indie Trailer Sunday: Zombies in The Dead and the Damned!
How about some zombies to brighten up your day? I know we've probably seen a couple of zombie westerns before (George Romero's latest flick, Survival of the Dead, is kind of a western too) but this film is a full on "Deadwood with zombies" style western horror indie. It's called The Dead and the Damned and it comes from Twitch and I'm featuring it because there wasn't anything else I could find that's worth showing today. The production values look a little skimpy and the zombies just look terrible, but it does look kinda cool, like a fun low budget zombie western. Oh and there is some nudity. Check it out and let us know what you think?

Woody & Buzz Return to Theaters in 2011 in a New Short Film
Thankfully, after what turned out to be a wholly touching, heartfelt and spectacular farewell to Woody, Buzz Lightyear and friends in Toy Story 3, we won't have to worry about Disney and Pixar scraping the bottom of the barrel for another sequel with the gang from Andy's room. However, in a recent interview from MSN with director Lee Unkrich (check out our interview with him, too!) it was revealed that we may not have to say goodbye to those characters forever because some of the Toy Story characters will be returning in one of Pixar's famous short films which will be shown in front of Cars 2 when it's released on June 24th, 2011.

Review: Pixar's Toy Story 3 is Magical & Full of Wonderment
There is always a sense of apprehension going into the third movie of any franchise. Historically, the third film is where the series turns downhill, and the quality of story, character, and execution is rarely ever on par with the rest. The franchise loses its magic, if you will, and the characters and predicaments that play out typically seem derived and dull. You've never been able to count on a third movie in a franchise.
That is, until now. Why? Because Pixar has never made a third film in a series until now. With Toy Story 3, the same magic we've come to know and love from not only the first two Toy Story films but all Pixar has
