Review: Predators Delivers a Tough and Exciting Jungle Trek
Nimrod Antal's Predators is easily, without question, the second best film in the science fiction franchise. That might not be saying much for a series that began with one of the most innovative action films of the 1980s and has since dumped its iconic, titular character into a fray of misguided sequels and spin-offs and blasphemous crossovers. As memorable and as exquisitely crafted as the Predator character is, the movies it has inhabited haven't been living up to expectations ever since we were introduced to the "futuristic" world of 1997 Los Angeles in Predator 2. With this new Predators, though, we get taken back to the basics.

Casting Tidbits: Walken, Laurence Fishburne, Gillian Anderson
Peter - I swear to you wherever you go, wherever you are, I vow there will always be Casting Tidbits buried in notes signed James Hook. They will be flung into doors of your children's, children's, children, do you hear me? First up, Deadline is reporting that the lovely Gillian Anderson is heading back into action as a field agent. No, she's not suiting up as Agent Scully, but rather as MI7 secret agent Pamela Head in the silly sequel Johnny English Reborn. Rowan Atkinson is returning as the clumsy British spy as he embarks on a search for traitors within Her Majesty's Secret Service. Here's to hoping she shoots English in the head.

Indie Trailer Sunday: Adrien Brody in The Experiment Trailer
This isn't much of an indie anymore as it was recently announced that Sony Home Entertainment would be quietly dumping this straight-to-DVD sometime in September. But if you can forget about that for a minute, we've finally got a trailer (via HeyUGuys) for Paul Scheuring's The Experiment, a remake of German film Das Experiment, starring Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Clifton Collins Jr. and many others. The trailer is a bit low quality and is super cheesy, but this is a film that I just want to see no matter when or how it's being released, because it has a cool concept and some great actors and it doesn't look that bad. Enjoy!

Check This Out: Sexy Poster for Horror 'I Spit on Your Grave'
Well, I hate to call this sexy, but it does have a nice ass shot. For reasons unknown, I'm featuring this official theatrical poster (from Bloody-Disgusting) for the horror/thriller I Spit on Your Grave, a remake of the 1978 film Day of the Woman. The best part about this remake is that it's hitting theaters un4ated, meaning without an MPAA rating, meaning most places won't play it except for art house theaters. There's already a trailer out that I've also included beneath the poster. And in case you're wondering whose cheeks those are, they're actress Sarah Butler's. Check out the poster and trailer below and let us know if you're interested?

It's Official: Edward Norton is No Longer Bruce Banner / Hulk
We have full confirmation on the surprising news that broke late last night courtesy of HitFix. The same site has received an official statement from Marvel Entertainment confirming that Edward Norton will no longer be playing Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, and that Marvel is looking for an "unknown" to use in The Avengers. We've "made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in The Avengers. Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members."

Marvel Buzz: Kevin Bacon as X-Men Villain, Norton Not Hulk?
There are a couple of Marvel related casting stories today that we should mention, although both of them are kind of sketchy, so I'm going into this a bit cautiously. First up, Deadline says Kevin Bacon (Footloose, Tremors, Apollo 13, Taking Chance) has been cast in "the villain role" in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. Alas, they don't know who he is playing (at all), so we have no idea who the villain will be. Bupkus! Additionally, HitFix is claiming that Edward Norton will not be returning as Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, in Joss Whedon's The Avengers movie, instead Marvel will be casting "an unknown" in his place. Really?

Sound Off: Nimrod Antal's Predators - What Did You Think?
Now that you've seen it, what did you think? It all began back in 1987 when Arnold Schwarzenegger and John McTiernan introduced us to the badass alien species known as Predator. Now genre king Robert Rodriguez is back with Predators, which lands in theaters today, directed by Nimród Antal and starring Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins and Oleg Taktarov. So how is the movie? Is it a great reboot of a beloved sci-fi franchise or not? How was Brody in the lead and the rest of the cast as well? If you've seen it, leave a comment below and let us know what you thought of Predators!

Watch: Boobs Galore in New Red Band Trailer for Middle Men
Paramount has debuted a very TNA-filled red band trailer (via MySpace) for George Gallo's Middle Men, the comedy starring Luke Wilson about the origin of internet porn in the 90's. We featured the first trailer back in June, but it didn't really catch on, maybe because they couldn't really show everyone how raunchy and rowdy this movie truly is until they could unleash this red band trailer online. Sex sells, right? If you're a parent, don't let your kids see this, as there's enough gratuitous nudity and language to ruin them for life (just kidding). I think this looks okay, but I'm still not sold. Will it be good funny or bad funny? Thoughts?

Mel Gibson Loses Agency Representation & Maybe His Career?
Back in 2006, the buzz around Mel Gibson was nearly unavoidable, and not in any good way. At the time, Gibson had been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, only to be follow that with a mouthful of offensive, degrading, sexist and even anti-Semitic remarks to his arresting officer. Returning to the big screen earlier this year with Edge of Darkness, it seemed he was eager to get back on the good side of the public eye. However, RiskyBiz is now reporting that after his recent spat (more below), William Morris Endeavor Entertainment has decided to drop him as their client, which is not good for him or his career.

Michael Caine Says Batman 3 Will Begin Shooting Next April
Though we're not anywhere near starting principal photography and we do not have any word on new cast members or story details, there's no doubt that Chris Nolan's follow-up to The Dark Knight is already one of the most anticipated films ever. Still operating under the guise of Batman 3, we know that the sequel is set for release on July 20th, 2012, and Nolan has firmly said that he does not intend to bring back The Joker. Well, it looks like we have a bit more info as Michael Caine, who plays Bruce Wayne's loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth, revealed in an DigitalSpy interview that Batman 3 could start shooting as early as April 2011.
