First Short Trailer for Lionsgate's Saw 3D (aka VII) Launches
This October, The Traps Come Alive. Get ready for one big gimmick. Lionsgate has debuted the first official trailer on IGN for Saw 3D, or Saw VII, the seventh and final (woo, right?) movie in this infamous horror franchise. I'll admit that I used to enjoy watching these movies, but by now I've just lost all interest in them, especially with this one which definitely feels like they're going for the gimmick aspect with the 3D. Just like that damn My Bloody Valentine 3D trailer, this one tries to sell that 3D gimmick as much as it possibly can. Funny enough, this may be the first time an actual saw has been a trap since the first. Watch it if you want.

Comic-Con 2010: Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren Paint Hall H RED
We got our first look at the Summit adaptation of DC Comics action-packed comic book RED when the first trailer popped up online last month. But today, the lucky thousands in Hall H at Comic-Con were treated to the world premiere of a brand new trailer featuring Bruce Willis kicking Karl Urban's ass, Helen Mirren nonchalantly mentioning to Mary-Louise Parker that she kills people, John Malkovich being, well, John Malkovich and even Richard Dreyfuss getting punched in the face. Having been somewhat underwhelmed by the first trailer for Red, this trailer had some magic to work on me. So how did that go?

Watch: Hilariously Fun Second Trailer for Warren Ellis' RED!
The Comic-Con panel for Warren Ellis' RED just wrapped up in San Diego, but after debuting a second new trailer at the panel, it's also made its way online officially via Apple. It's a hilarious and perfect follow up to the first trailer that arrived back in June. I love the action, it looks extremely fun, and I love that final ending moment with John Malkovich. That moment alone makes me want to see this, I would walk into a theater right now and watch it. In addition to Malkovich, RED stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen frickin' Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, Richard Dreyfuss and Karl Urban. Check out the new trailer below!

Comic-Con 2010: An Intense First Look at Battle: Los Angeles
We just finished watching Sony's Comic-Con 2010 panel, the first half focusing on Salt (but who cares?), and the second half focusing on Battle: Los Angeles, a movie I've been anxiously awaiting to see footage from since first hearing about a while ago. At the beginning, they debuted a solid five minute chunk of new footage and DAMN does this look awesome. Think kind of District 9 meets Black Hawk Down, with a marine battalion fighting "unknown" alien invaders on the streets of Los Angeles. Lots of great intimate shots with the marines as well as shots of helicopters flying over LA while being attacked, looks awesome.

Check This Out: Another Beautiful Teaser Poster for Let Me In
Another debut of another great poster at Comic-Con to feature today. MTV released this teaser poster for Hammer Films / Matt Reeves' Let Me In, the Let the Right One In remake, and it looks totally gorgeous, a perfectly simple minimalistic yet sleek teaser for the movie. I'm really loving the imagery they're coming up with for this, along with the original teaser poster, it's unique and different from Let the Right One In, yet great in its own way. Check out the newest Let Me In poster in full below and let us know what you think of it? I'm very curious if people are starting to warm up to this at all, or still opposed to it. Check it out below!

Guillermo del Toro to Direct Disney's Haunted Mansion Reboot
Disney just announced a HUGE surprise announcement at Comic-Con: Guillermo del Toro is directing a reboot of The Haunted Mansion. After the Tron Legacy panel, which just plain kicked ass, moderator Patton Oswalt asked audiences what Disney franchise they'd want to see rebooted. Then they rolled a brief teaser logo for The Haunted Mansion and introduced del Toro to the stage. They are making it live-action, and in 3D, and will be making the mansion the scariest place on earth. "If you take the children, they will scream," del Toro said. It's one his favorite experiences and he's excited to bring it to the big screen again.

Must Watch: Awesome New Full-Length Tron Legacy Trailer!
After first debuting this trailer here in the epic panel at Comic-Con, the latest full-length official trailer for Disney's Tron Legacy has debuted online, as discovered via the latest viral. It's absolutely amazing, totally awe-inspiring, and a must watch for anyone, even if you were not initially Tron fans. Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Garrett Hedlund and Bruce Boxleitner and will be hitting theaters in glorious, native 3D this December. Easily my most anticipated movie for the rest of 2010, hands down. Do yourself a favor, drop everything, and watch this trailer now, because you will be totally blown away. Watch this below!

Comic-Con 2010: Our Early Preview Night Showfloor Photos
We're back with our photo preview to kick off Comic-Con 2010. Last night the Con "unofficially" kicked off with the opening of Preview Night, a three-hour opening of the crowded and always exciting showfloor, featuring many booths for a lot of great companies, studios, movies, and more. I made my way through the crowds last night and snapped a few photos of whatever I could, but there will certainly be more to come at the end (as we always do a wrap-up piece as well). For now, check these out, including that awesome booth for Tron Legacy, that included a ton of badass promo products they've made for it. View the photos below!

First Look: Natalie Portman in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan
Whoa! is one of the first words that comes to mind looking at these. It was recently announced that Darren Aronofsky's new film Black Swan, somewhat of a supernatural ballet drama/thriller, was going to open the Venice Film Festival in a few months. In response, USA Today has published a first look feature with the first official photos from the movie, including some very wild shots of lead actress Natalie Portman in full make-up for her performance. In addition to Portman, Black Swan also stars Mila Kunis as her rival dancer, Winona Ryder, Sebastian Stan, Barbara Hershey and Vincent Cassel (who can be seen in one photo below).

Brad Pitt Officially Cast in Marc Forster's World War Z Movie
Some hot movie news right off the Comic-Con showfloor to report tonight that should make some zombie fans happy. Both Bleeding Cool and MTV heard straight from World War Z author Max Brooks tonight that not only is the big screen version of the bestselling zombie book World War Z finally moving forward, set to hit theaters in summer 2012, but that Brad Pitt is officially signed on to star. You may remember that Pitt's production company Plan B was the one that picked up the rights and has been developing this, with Quantum of Solace's Marc Forster still attached to direct (presumably after he finishes Disconnect).

Alien Invasion Viral Website for Battle: Los Angeles Launches
This is one movie that I think may sneak up and surprise audiences at Comic-Con this year. I was walking to the convention center earlier and passed by the Hard Rock Hotel and noticed some banners up with various alien invasion-like black and white imagery as well as a soldier and text saying "Los Angeles 2011." All of the banners (photos below) have links to the website ReportThreats.org that initially connects to a Sony website for the upcoming alien action movie Battle: Los Angeles, then forwards to the ReportThreats.org and a site called W.A.T.C.H., which stands for: Worldwide Assessment of Threats Concerning Humankind.
