Watch: Wacky Trailer for Dax Shepard's Movie 'Brother's Justice'
Wow... this looks crazy! Deadline has debuted the trailer for a film called Brother's Justice that wasn't on my radar until just now. It's an indie comedy starring Dax Shepard as himself, a comedic actor who wants to reinvent himself by becoming an internationally renowned martial arts star, except that not only is he not internationally renowned, but he doesn't have any formal martial arts training. So... this is kind of a big riff on Joaquin Phoenix's I'm Still Here in a way, where he tries to do something he's not good at. There's a LOT of cameo appearances and it doesn't look half bad. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think!

Rumor: 'Indiana Jones' Series is Going 3D Next After Star Wars
Honestly, I'm not too surprised to hear this. We knew it was coming, right? Blue Sky Disney, who is usually quite reliable with their scoops, is reporting (hence why why we're calling this a rumor for now) that, "next month, Lucasfilm will announce that they're converting the Indiana Jones Saga to 3D as well." It was officially announced about a month ago that Lucasfilm would be converting all six of the Star Wars movies to 3D, with the first hitting theaters in early 2012, and each one following a year later. Apparently that's the same release pattern they'll be following with the three four movies from the Indiana Jones trilogy series.

Watch: Another Great 'Epic Finale' Featurette for Harry Potter 7
I don't want to feature much more from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at this point, because the film is going to be out soon and it's best to go in fresh without having seen every scene online. However, Yahoo has debuted an impressive new two-and-a-half minute featurette. I was lucky enough to be able to visit the set of Harry Potter earlier this year, which was an amazing experience. This video gives us a quick look at just how far Harry Potter has come (I still get emotional thinking about it ending) and a taste of the final two movies. If you want to stay fresh, don't watch it, but if you're a fan and can't help it, dive right in!

First Look: Joseph Kahn's Time-Travel Horror Film 'Detention'
Yep, that's Dane Cook giving his best American Psycho impression (at least that's what it looks like). Sci-fi site io9 recently interviewed music video director Joseph Kahn (also of Torque) and unveiled three first look photos from his new film Detention. It's described as "Back To The Future meets Scream, with a hefty dose of John Hughes teen movies." In addition to Dane Cook, it also stars Shanley Caswell, Josh Hutcherson and Spencer Locke. Kahn recently wrapped a 51-day shoot and is now entering post-production. Detention is essentially a horror comedy featuring a crazy slasher-movie killer named Cinderhella, who's also seen below.

Warner Bros Picks Up Fun Looney Tunes ACME Warehouse Pitch
This actually sounds like it could be quite fun. Heat Vision reports that Warner Bros has picked up a pitch from writers/brothers Kevin & Dan Hageman that focuses on the fictional ACME warehouse from the Looney Tunes world. They came up with the idea, independently, to create a live-action CG hybrid feature film focused around the ACME warehouse featuring the many outlandish devices that the company makes, with a tone that similar to the Amblin movies of the 1980s or a Men in Black-style movie. However, it won't actually feature any of the Looney Tunes characters. So how exactly will it work then? We're not really sure.

Ang Lee's Take on 'Life of Pi' Now Has Funding and Lead Actor
Back in May, we heard that Ang Lee's gestating adaptation of Yann Martel's prize-winning book The Life of Pi, which was looking to start shooting this year, had been delayed due to budget concerns. Now USA Today reports Fox 2000 has worked through all their qualms and decided to fund the $50 million+ feature which will be Lee's first 3D film. In addition to finalizing funding, Lee has also locked down newcomer Suraj Sharma (above right) for the title role of Pi Patel, the young Indian boy who's the lone survivor of a sunken freighter and winds up sharing a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan and a Bengal tiger.

Francis Ford Coppola Quietly Shooting New Film with Val Kilmer
Staying under the radar with recent films like Tetro and Youth Without Youth, filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola is working out of the spotlight once again as Deadline reports that the director is already quietly shooting his next film. So what is this unheard of project? Titled Twixt Now and Sunrise, it's described as a thriller with horror elements and features slightly faded star Val Kilmer as a horror novelist. Elle Fanning (Benjamin Button, Somewhere) and Bruce Dern (Monster, "Big Love") make-up its supporting cast. Though no details are mentioned, apparently the film is based on a short story by Coppola himself.

Stiller vs De Niro Again on Two Amusing 'Little Fockers' Posters
Universal has unveiled two new character posters for their upcoming holiday comedy Little Fockers over on Yahoo. Now, I'm not personally that interested in this film, but these posters are fun to see, so I thought I'd still show them to you guys anyway. Little Fockers, the latest sequel in the Meet the series, is directed by Paul Weitz and stars Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, once again, as well as most of the original cast and two newbies: Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, Harvey Keitel, Laura Dern, Barbra Streisand and Jessica Alba. You can watch the teaser trailer here. I'll probably be skipping this, but I know lots of you are excited for it.

Antonio Banderas Will Next Direct Psychological Thriller 'Solo'
Throughout the year we've heard about quite a few different projects for Antonio Banderas. In addition to appearing in You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger from Woody Allen, he also still has Steven Soderbergh's Haywire (formerly known as Knockout), Jean Jacques-Annaud's Black Gold, Pedro Almodovar's The Skin I Live In and a biopic of Boabdil, the last Muslim ruler of Granada, Spain. Now Variety reports Banderas will next direct and star in Solo, a psychological thriller with a touch of science fiction. The story focuses on a Spanish colonel suffering post-traumatic stress disorder but it's not clear where the sci-fi comes into play.

Robert Downey Jr. Could Drop Out of Alfonso Cuarón's 'Gravity'
Shortly after we first heard about Alfonso Cuarón's sci-fi movie Gravity, which was then starring Angelina Jolie, another casting update brought Robert Downey, Jr. into the mix in a supporting role. However, a recent report on Deadline says scheduling issues with Sherlock Holmes 2 may prevent him from appearing in the film. Apparently the delays and actress flip-flopping for the lead role have changed his intended plans to start shooting Sherlock Holmes 2, take a break to shoot Gravity, then return to England to complete the detective sequel. With The Avengers production creeping nearer, Downey's time is dwindling fast. Read on!

Black, Dillon & More Joining Matthew Weiner's 'You Are Here'
Last year we heard the feature directorial debut of "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner was being delayed due to production on season four of the hit AMC series causing problems with the timetable for the film. But it looks like this project is finally coming together again as Pajiba reports Jack Black, Matt Dillon and Renee Zellweger are now attached to the romantic comedy You Are Here. Additionally, an offer is out to Rachel McAdams for a role as well. Though the new cast doesn't pack as much punch as the previously attached Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Jennifer Aniston, I'm sure Weiner is just happy to finally make the flick.

Michael Mann Mulls Criminal 'Big Tuna' or Medieval 'Agincourt'
Since he's been quite engulfed in crime drama with Heat, Public Enemies and Miami Vice, it's easy to forget that director Michael Mann also once helmed the epic war drama The Last of the Mohicans. Now it looks like the filmmaker is looking at a possible return to both types of features as Deadline reports Mann is in the midst of considering directing two very different projects. In an interview on Financial Times, the director revealed he is mulling between directing the medieval European tale Agincourt or the Chicago based crime drama Big Tuna. Keep reading for more details on both of these potential directing gigs for Michael Mann.
