Danny DeVito is Voicing 'The Lorax' Who Speaks for the Trees
"I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees." So says the classic Dr. Seuss character from the environmentally conscientious children's book The Lorax. Following in the footsteps of the previous computer animated Horton Hears a Who, we've already heard the cautionary tale is heading to the big screen in 3D courtesy of Universal and producer Chris Meledandri (Despicable Me). Now USA Today reveals who will speak for the trees with Danny DeVito providing his vocal talent for the sad, mustached titular character. In addition, the newspaper has our first look at the computer animated version of The Lorax which you can see above.

Indie Trailer Sunday: Sally Hawkins Stars in 'Made in Dagenham'
Sony Pictures Classics recently unveiled this new official trailer (via Apple) for the British historic comedic drama Made in Dagenham, starring the always charming Sally Hawkins (seen above) as well as Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson and Rosamund Pike. The film is about a group of female workers in England in the 60s who start a strike at a Ford factory in protest against sexual discrimination. It has a kind of Flash of Genius vibe to it (another great film) but with some British sensibilities. It received mixed reviews from Toronto, but it doesn't look that bad, it actually looks like a solid film, so check out the official trailer below.

Director Tony Scott Confirmed for a Brand New 'Top Gun' Sequel
Well I'll be damned. A couple of days ago we wrote about a news report saying that Paramount had offered Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer the chance to return for a brand new Top Gun sequel, some 14 years after the original. Oh and apparently Christopher McQuarrie (Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) is writing the script, which has a small role for Tom Cruise to return as Maverick. Well, some sites (What's Playing and HitFix) caught up with Scott at a press event this weekend for his new film Unstoppable and confirmed with him that he is actually directing Top Gun 2, as it's called, but wouldn't comment on Cruise's involvement.

Make Your Own 'Undesirable No.1' Posters from Harry Potter 7
Yes, I know we're all very excited for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows given there's less than a month left until it hits theaters. One of the iconic images from Deathly Hallows is the Undesirable No.1 poster with Harry Potter. They gave out t-shirts of it at Comic-Con. For those that don't know, Voldemort takes over the Ministry and uses it to turn the everyone against Potter, hence why he gets a nifty sign. Not that you want to be "Undesirable", but Warner Bros launched a new web app (via Hero Complex) where you can make a poster with your face (or a friend's) on it. They'll even print it out for $25. Go create one!

Watch: Wonderful International Trailer for 'The King's Speech'
Oh yes! I'm more than happy to keep bringing you some of the best footage from Tom Hooper's The King's Speech because I am rooting for this incredible film all the way to the Oscars. The official trailer for this hit last month, but a new international trailer recently debuted (via Awards Daily) and it's a must watch trailer. The King's Speech stars Colin Firth as King George VI as well as Geoffrey Rush (who will both get Oscar noms) and Helena Bonham Carter. I really hope everyone reading this gives the film a chance, it really is wonderful, one of the best films of the year, you have to see it when it's in theaters. Watch the trailer below!

Review: Not Much Activity in Paramount's Paranormal Activity 2
The general idea behind a sequel, particularly a horror sequel, is the word "more". More scares. More characters. More of what the original film had to offer but usually on a bigger scale and with heightened stakes. Paranormal Activity 2 certainly has the "more characters" part down pat. The first film, a motion picture phenomenon that has essentially launched a new franchise, involved two people in a house trying to deal with the things that go bump in the night. With this sequel, there's a whole family of four, and a nanny, who are hearing strange noises and feeling the eerie presence of something not quite right. Unfortunately,

Liam Neeson Now Taking Mel Gibson's Role in 'The Hangover 2'
Since the cast and crew decided Asian penises and a baby being forced to gesture masturbation were just a tad more tasteful than allowing Mel Gibson have a cameo in The Hangover 2, someone has to take the role left vacant by his forced departure from the sequel. Variety says Liam Neeson (Taken, The A-Team) has quickly stepped in to play the small role of a crazed tattoo artist the guys encounter in Thailand. Neeson revealed his role (which will shoot this weekend) to the site only a few days after the news that dissension amongst the cast and crew had forced Warner Bros and director Todd Phillips to pull Gibson from the film.

Jack Black Knows Precisely 'How to Survive a Robot Uprising'
With Steven Spielberg finally committing to direct the adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson's forthcoming novel Robopocalypse, there's quite an update on the development of an adaptation of yet another robot-centric novel from the same engineer-turned-author. Though previously Mike Myers was attached to the big screen version of How to Survive a Robot Uprising from writers Thomas Lennon & Ben Garant, it looks like that iteration never quite got off the ground. Now io9 reports that the rights have been acquired by Jack Black, and Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink will be taking a crack at the apocalyptic comedy.

'Glee' Actress Lea Michele Looking to Party on 'New Year's Eve'
Though she's currently at the center of a small controversy regarding a risque GQ photoshoot featuring a few stars from Fox's series "Glee," the stunning Lea Michele just keeps moving, and it looks like she's about to make the leap to the big screen. Variety says the 24 year-old actress has lined up a role in New Year's Eve, the pseudo-sequel to the ensemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day. Director Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) is expected to return for the film along with writer Katherine Fugate. There's no word on what role she might play, though it'd be nice if she could finally move out of a high school role so she can act her age.

Watch: Kidman and Eckhart in a Stunning 'Rabbit Hole' Trailer
Lionsgate has debuted the official trailer on Apple for surprise awards contender Rabbit Hole, directed by John Cameron Mitchell, based on David Lindsay-Abaire's play. The film stars Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart as a grieving husband and wife struggling with life after the loss of their child. This first premiered up in Toronto to surprisingly positive reviews (see criticWIRE), most of which focused on the Oscar caliber performances from Kidman and Eckhart. I'm sad I missed this, as it looks wonderful. This is such a fantastic trailer, too. Doesn't oversell it, but captures the tone and gives us just enough to get hooked. Watch below!

Steven Spielberg Fully Confirmed to Helm 'Robopocalypse' Next
After hearing multiple rumors earlier this year about the possibility, Deadline has confirmed that Steven Spielberg "has committed to next direct" Robopocalypse. This adaptation of Daniel Wilson's epic novel, written by Drew Goddard (Cloverfield, The Cabin in the Woods, "Lost"), is about the human race's attempt to survive an apocalyptic robot uprising. Spielberg is currently finishing War Horse, but the plan is to start shooting in January of 2012 for release sometime in 2013. DreamWorks will be developing and Disney will be releasing. Apparently Spielberg is into this so much, he's already been designing and storyboarding for it.
