Watch: Final Fockin' Trailer for Universal's 'Little Fockers' Sequel

Little Fockers Trailer

Universal has released a final theatrical trailer on Yahoo for the ensemble comedy Little Fockers, directed by Paul Weitz, due out this holiday season. I really hate this franchise so I'm trying to prevent too much of my own opinion from leaking into this, but sometimes I can't help it. Little Fockers stars most of the original cast as well as some money-hungry newcomers, including: Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Jessica Alba and Laura Dern. I watched the entire trailer and didn't find any of it funny at all, which is why I don't care about this in the least. But if this is your kind of comedy, then enjoy!

First Look: 'The Muppets' Working Hard on Set with Jason Segel

The Muppets

Though a garbage scan of this image hit the net a few days ago, an official, higher quality first look at The Muppets has been released by Disney. Jason Segel (of Forgetting Sarah Marshall) both wrote and stars in the iconic puppets' return to the big screen for the first time since 1999's Muppets from Space. This first photo puts in the same room with Segel and some of our favorite Muppets like Kermit the Frog, Gonzo and Animal where it looks like a table read for the film has gotten a little out of hand. We also get our first look at Walter (holding an iPhone) who is described as a sweet, slightly naive twenty-something Everypuppet.

Bill Murray, Bruce Willis & More Join Wes Anderson's Next Film

Bill Murray / Bruce Willis

It's only been a year since Fantastic Mr. Fox hit theaters, but since I'm always looking forward to the next film from Wes Anderson, it feels like it's been forever. Fortunately, today brings some good news for Anderson's biggest fans as the cast and a few details on his next film have finally been unveiled. Deadline reports the filmmaker will next direct Moon Rise Kingdom from a script that he wrote along with Roman Coppola who previously collaborated with Anderson on The Darjeeling Limited. In addition, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Anderson regular Bill Murray are all in talks to join the project.

Watch: Epic Ancient Rome Action in First Trailer for 'The Eagle'

The Eagle Trailer

"The Eagle is not a piece of metal. The Eagle is Rome." Focus Features has debuted an epic trailer on Apple for the action flick The Eagle, originally known as The Eagle of the Ninth, starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Mark Strong, Donald Sutherland, Un Prophete's Tahar Rahim and many others. This was directed by Kevin Macdonald, of The Last King of Scotland and State of Play, and is set in Roman-ruled Britain. Tatum plays a young Roman soldier who endeavors to honor his father's memory by finding his lost legion's golden emblem. It looks quite awesome, lots of good action and story, I'm definitely interested in checking it out.

Warner Bros Drops 'Dark Moon' Film, But Dark Castle Catches It

Dark Castle andv Dark Moon

Last month we found out about Dark Moon, a new project from Warner Bros and Akiva Goldsman that presupposes a black ops post-Apollo moon-landing mission was sent back to explore previously classified discoveries and its unintended and disturbing consequences. The project was another in the stream of "found footage" films like Cloverfield, and as we just heard about one film being canceled on account of an abundance of similar structured narratives, it's no surprise that Heat Vision reports Warner Bros. just dropped the project. However, the good news is Dark Castle (Splice, Orphan) has picked up the project in turnaround to save it from obscurity.

Roland Emmerich's Secret Sci-Fi Project 'The Zone' Shuts Down

Roland Emmerich

Back at the end of October we heard about yet another alien invasion project from Roland Emmerich (2012, Independence Day) which was also another in a series of films employing the "found footage" narrative device like the recent horror hit Paranormal Activity. Unlike his previous blockbusters, the film boasted an improv-based cast of unknowns with a measly $5 million budget. However, it looks like the influx of found footage driven films has taken its toll on Emmerich's project as Heat Vision reports production on The Zone has been shut down. No specific reasons are given for the halt, but a couple speculative reasons are mentioned. Read on!

'The Blind Side' Director to Helm 'Electric Boy Genius' for Disney

Ryan Patterson

He may not have received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director, but since John Lee Hancock had his 2009 film The Blind Side included amongst the ten Best Picture nominees, that has to count for something. Now the filmmaker has lined up his next project as Deadline reports Hancock is attached to direct Electric Boy Genius for Disney. Based on a 2002 GQ article, the film will tell the story of Ryan Patterson, a kid who grew up fascinated by robotics and electricity who invented an electronic sign-language device which uses sensors in a glove to translate different hand movements into letters on a screen. Did I mention he did this at just 17 years old? Read on!

Channing Tatum Could Move to '21 Jump Street' with Jonah Hill

Channing Tatum / 21 Jump Street

Since he hasn't really shown any discernible sense of decent acting in his more dramatic or action roles, maybe actor Channing Tatum will find a better home in comedy. So far only his lady-pleasing good looks have kept him in the industry (as far as I can tell), but apparently there's some decent buzz on his performance in Ron Howard's romantic comedy The Dilemma. But Deadline has word on another somewhat comedic role as Tatum is apparently nearing negotiations to star opposite Jonah Hill in the big screen adaptation of 21 Jump Street, the story of undercover police officers who infiltrate a high school to fight drugs and crime. More below!

Seductive Official Poster for Derek Cianfrance's 'Blue Valentine'

Blue Valentine Poster

Looks like The Weinstein Company stepped up their game. After releasing the awful poster for The King's Speech, TWC has unveiled a seductive new poster for Derek Cianfrance's Blue Valentine. This is the film that currently has a controversial NC-17 rating, which it doesn't deserve in any way, especially because it's one of the year's best films (read my review). The drama stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams as a couple trying to make their marriage work, but it's obvious they're happy here. This feels like TWC just said "fuck it" and went all-out as spicy as they could, and I like it. Poster is from Yahoo + watch the trailer here.

First Look: Daniel Radcliffe in Ghost Film 'The Woman In Black'

Daniel Radcliffe in The Woman in Black

Yes, Deathly Hallows is almost here, but believe or not, Daniel Radcliffe is trying his hardest to make a name for himself outside of Harry Potter. He's currently shooting a movie called The Woman In Black for the recently revived Hammer Films. It's based on a 1983 horror novel by Susan Hill about a menacing spectre that haunts a small English town. Eden Lake's James Watkins is directing from a script by Stardust and Kick-Ass writer Jane Goldman. Radcliffe stars as Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client's papers. Hammer (via Bloody-Disgusting) debuted two photos.

Must Watch: Thrilling Gothic Horror in Official 'Jane Eyre' Trailer

Jane Eyre Trailer

Wow this looks beautiful. Focus Features has just unveiled the official trailer on Yahoo for Cary Fukunaga's Jane Eyre, his new gothic horror take on the Charlotte Brontë classic, starring Mia Wasikowska as the titular Jane Eyre, Michael Fassbender as Edward Rochester, as well as Judi Dench and Jamie Bell. This looks absolute amazing, I must say. I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow Fukunaga has taken a very unique spin on this classic and I'm flipping for it. I don't usually have much interest in period pieces, but this looks thrilling. Do yourself a big favor and check out this new trailer, I'm certain you won't regret it. Watch below!

Crowe Casts Patrick Fugit and Elle Fanning in 'We Bought a Zoo'

Patrick Fugit & Elle Fanning

This is shaping up to be quite a return for Cameron Crowe. It was just announced that Scarlett Johansson would star in Crowe's newest film, We Bought a Zoo based on Benjamin Mee's memoir, but she's not the only one joining this. Deadline reports that 12-year-old actress Elle Fanning, who's been cast in just about everything recently, has booked a role along with (28-year-old) Patrick Fugit, who you should remember starred as the young music journalist in Crowe's brilliant Almost Famous that was supposedly modeled after Crowe himself. Fanning will play a teen who works at the zoo's restaurant, but we're not sure of Fugit's role.
