Billy Bob Thornton Talks 'Bad Santa' Sequel & New Directing Gig
Soon we'll see him co-starring with Dwayne Johnson in the action flick Faster, but it's the future career of Billy Bob Thornton, in both acting and directing, that is a point of interest for us now. Thornton recently sat down with our friends at Collider for a quick interview, and while the complete Q&A is still forthcoming, they did reveal some buzzworthy info on more future projects for the actor/director. First of all, Thornton revealed he had just completed a script titled Jane Mansfield's Car with his old writing partner Tom Epperson. He didn't reveal any details, but he did speak briefly about a sequel to the raunchy holiday comedy Bad Santa.

Malin Akerman Replaces Lindsay Lohan in Linda Lovelace Biopic
Throughout her trials (literally and figuratively), tribulations and troubles, director Matthew Wilder was optimistic about keeping Lindsay Lohan onboard Inferno, the biopic surrounding famed Deep Throat porn star Linda Lovelace. The actress replaced Anna Faris on the project back in May, but since then she's been faced with a myriad of issues in court, rehab and more. Now that Lohan is supposed to remain in rehab until 2011, Wilder has been forced to replace her. The Wrap reports Malin Akerman has stepped up to take on the role which has been described as tawdry, but containing potential for a powerful, and darkly dramatic performance.

Aronofsky Talks About His Interests in Directing 'The Wolverine'
With Black Swan arriving in theaters in a few weeks (December 3rd), and production beginning next April on The Wolverine, director Darren Aronofsky is showing up in the news a lot as he's being interviewed and asked constantly about the project. It was confirmed a few weeks ago that the title of the new Wolverine movie, with Hugh Jackman back as Logan, would be titled just The Wolverine and it isn't actually a sequel, more of a "one-off." SuperHeroHype got a few quick words out of Darren (see below), but the video segment from Dave Poland's interview on Movie City News is a must watch for those wondering why he took this on.

Indie Trailer Sunday: Jim Broadbent in Mike Leigh's 'Another Year'
Let the controversy begin. Today's indie trailer (via Yahoo) is for British filmmaker Mike Leigh's new film Another Year starring Jim Broadbent, Lesley Manville and Ruth Sheen. Let's get to it - I hate this film. I saw it at the Cannes Film Festival this year and despised every second of it. I personally think it's one of the most pointless and boring films I've ever seen, not exaggerating, but I still realize that Mike Leigh doesn't make films for "me" and that this does indeed appeal to *ahem* the older crowd. If you're wondering why I chose it, that's the reason, simply that it might appeal to others. Oh and the acting is pretty damn good, too.

Seven Actors Who Should Have Been in the 'Harry Potter' Movies
Throughout the Harry Potter franchise there have been plenty of A-list actors from across the seas who have taken part in the epic story. Since author J.K. Rowling and the producers wanted to stay as true to the books as possible, only European actors were considered for roles. Though names like Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Michael Gambon, Jim Broadbent, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes are riddled throughout the wizarding series, there are plenty of stellar actors who have been left out. As the series ends, I've decided to list my seven choices of international talent who should have been cast in some roles in the epic series.

First New Poster for 'Hop' with Russell Brand as the Easter Bunny
Hippity hop? Yep, Hollywood is hitting every holiday. The first new poster for Illumination Entertainment's new movie Hop has debuted on Facebook (via SlashFilm) and it's quite interesting to check out. This is our very first look at the Easter Bunny character British comedian Russell Brand voices. Described as "the world's worst houseguest," Brand plays an Easter Bunny who is accidentally hit by the car of an unemployed slacker played by James Marsden (27 Dresses, The Box), who is then forced to take the holiday creature in until he recovers. This also stars Kaley Cuoco, Elizabeth Perkins, Chelsea Handler and Hugh Laurie. Enjoy!

'Zombieland' Writers Reese & Wernick Directing 'Doc and Howie'
Now this is an interesting turn of events. Screenwriting duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Zombieland and are working on the new G.I. Joe sequel and Deadpool scripts as well as the Cowboy Ninja Viking adaptation at Disney, are to make their feature directing debut a script that, oddly, is not their own. THR's RiskyBiz reports that the project is a comedy called Doc and Howie, which was shortened from its original longer descriptive title Doc and Howie Whack a Granny when it was on the Black List. TV writer & producer Steve Leff wrote the original screenplay. Interested to see what these guys can do as directors next.

McConaughey Goes Legal in 'The Lincoln Lawyer' Teaser Trailer
Another Lincoln gets his debut today, too! Lionsgate has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Brad Furman's The Lincoln Lawyer, a fairly intense legal action-drama starring Matthew McConaughey as a lawyer in Beverly Hills who conducts some very shady business out of the back of his classy Lincoln town car. The trailer starts out kind of comical, but gets intense pretty damn quickly when Mickey Haller (McConaughey) takes on a case involving Ryan Phillippe, who apparently beat up some girl but has some sordid past. It also stars John Leguizamo, William H. Macy and Marisa Tomei. What a way to end the trailer, too.

Must Watch: First Official Trailer for Duncan Jones' 'Source Code'!
Now this you've got to take a look at! Summit Entertainment debuted on Apple the official trailer for Moon director Duncan Jones' second feature film, Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monaghan. The film is based on a highly buzzed screenplay written by Ben Ripley that involves a twisty, time-travel filled, sci-fi-ish plot where Gyllenhaal wakes up as a guy traveling in a train, doesn't know who he is, talks to people who know who he is, then a few minutes later finds out there's a bomb that blows the train up. And that's just the half of it. The concept is neatly explained in this kick-ass first trailer!

Watch: Second Great Trailer for Seth Rogen's 'The Green Hornet'
Not to be confused with Green Lantern, Sony has debuted the second full-length theatrical trailer via Yahoo for The Green Hornet, the Seth Rogen and Jay Chou funky superhero action flick based on the classic serial characters. This trailer contains a lot of the same stuff from the first trailer we saw in June, but also a lot of new scenes, including some badass quick glimpses of "Kato Vision" that director Michel Gondry was integral in envisioning. To be honest, one of the reasons why I want to see this is to watch those fight scenes, they actually look awesome. So have at it, check out this new trailer, and try not to be too critical if you can!
