Exclusive Video Interview: 'Harry Potter' Producer David Heyman
Although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has been playing in theaters for a few weeks, it's far from over, as the second half of the epic conclusion to the beloved Harry Potter series doesn't hit theaters until July next summer. I'm a bit behind with this and I apologize for the delay, but a few weeks back I got to sit down with franchise producer David Heyman, who has been one of the key producers behind the entire series - all eight movies. David and I ended up talking in depth about all things Harry Potter for nearly 40 minutes, so I've split up the video interview into two digestible portions, both of which you can watch below.

First Look: More New Official 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4' Photos
With the highly anticipated first teaser trailer arriving Monday evening, I knew Disney would start teasing some first looks at Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Yea, don't forget we have this sequel to watch out for next summer as well. Damn these come so quick! Our good friend Anthony Breznican over on USA Today debuted the new photos, including a first look at Penélope Cruz. "What's most interesting about Pirates 4 is you don't have to connect the dots for these subplots and sub-characters," Depp told the paper. "It felt like a fresh, clean slate." This definitely seems like it might be a very strong return to form.

'Inception: The App' Changes Your Perception of Reality & Sound
You may be taking your perception of Inception to a whole new level with the film recently hitting DVD and Blu-Ray, but director Chris Nolan and composer Hans Zimmer are still eager to play with your mind like no one has before. The filmmaker and composer have teamed with Michael Breidenbrücker, co-founder of Last.fm and one of the minds behind the reactive music app RjDj, to create Inception: The App (iTunes link). The aim of the mobile application is to use the environment, including sounds, weather and location, to induce dreams by way of augmented sound directly affected by those aforementioned elements. Whoa!

Potential Casting, New Details & Title Debunked for 'Alien' Prequel
Though we've been hearing about the upcoming Alien prequels from director Ridley Scott for some time now, details have been few and far between. We've heard rumblings of a female Colonial Marine General, potential casting for that role and a reference to an alien that Scott has referred to as the Space Jockey, but other than that, we're pretty much in the dark. However, Vulture, who has been responsible for most of the scoops for these prequels, has a slew of new updates. First and foremost, let's give this sucker a title since the prequel has apparently been dubbed Paradise. But that's not all, because there's even more info below.

Russell Brand Calls 'Rentaghost' Back from the Dead for New Film
The comedian might already be in the remake business with that new version of Arthur in the works, but Russell Brand is reaching back into British TV from decades past for his next project. Deadline reports the Get Him to the Greek star is attached to a big screen adaptation of the original UK children's comedy series Rentaghost which ran on BBC from 1976-1984. Warner Bros. picked up the rights as a vehicle for Brand to develop into a comedy in the same vein as Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. The original TV series followed a small business who provided the services of various ghosts to complete tasks like haunting mansions and more.

Watch: First Teaser Trailer for 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'!
Damn I can't believe another one of these movies is almost here already! Paramount has unveiled the first teaser trailer on Apple for Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the third movie in Hasbro's epic franchise, which left many unsatisfied two years ago with the release of the second movie, Revenge of the Fallen. Now they're back and bigger than ever and Shia LaBeouf has returned, but the female lead has been replaced by the lovely Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But we don't get to see either, as this is just an announcement teaser. I love how sci-fi this gets, it's a cool setup and a great first teaser. Check it out below!

James Franco Interested in Writing & Directing a Sal Mineo Biopic
Though the actor found success playing the late James Dean in a made-for-TV movie on TNT back in 2001, it looks like James Franco is interested in another star of the classic Rebel Without a Cause. THR reports Franco has optioned the rights to Sal Mineo: A Biography, a book from Michael Greg Michaud which chronicles the life of the young actor who played Plato alongside Dean's rough-around-the-edges Jim Stark. Mineo's story is one of success that carried from his teenage years to his tragic untimely death at 37 years old. Franco is interested in writing and directing the biopic but currently doesn't have any intentions of starring in the film.

Success! NC-17 Rating for 'Blue Valentine' Has Been Overturned
In case you weren't aware, there's been quite the controversy surrounding the NC-17 rating that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) doled out for Derek Cianfrance's raw drama Blue Valentine starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. From the trailer and the seductive poster, we've seen that the film will be quite the powerful and passionate drama, but apparently one particular scene of sexuality was just too much for the MPAA. Thankfully, the MPAA announced today that they have overturned their initial, seemingly unfair, rating and have decided an R-rating is enough for the "strong graphic sexual content". Whew!

'Silver Linings Playbook' Lands Anne Hathaway & Bradley Cooper
Though it seemed like his next project would be the video game adaptation Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, it looks like David O. Russell may line-up another project beforehand. Showbiz 411, the source who initiated the confirmed rumor of Mark Wahlberg leading the aforementioned video game film, reports Russell is looking to direct The Silver Linings Playbook, an adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel of the same name. In addition, it seems Anne Hathaway, fresh off her performance in Love and Other Drugs, has signed on for a role while Bradley Cooper is being lined up for the lead role of a history teacher recently released from a mental hospital.

Armie Hammer Lands a Big Role in Eastwood's 'J. Edgar' Biopic
I was waiting for news like this to hit! One of my favorite break-out actors of this year is Armie Hammer, a talented, smart and handsome fellow who always stole the show on screen as the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network. Hammer was also cast as Batman in George Miller's Justice League movie and had trained for months for it. Entertainment Weekly now reports that Hammer has booked a role in Clint Eastwood's biopic J. Edgar, the new title, about FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. DiCaprio is still starring, but Hammer will be playing Clyde Tolson, Hoover's alleged lover, a role that Joaquin Phoenix was recently rumored for.
