Back to the Future

In case you weren't aware, you might have missed out on a 25th Anniversary screening of the sci-fi classic Back to the Future at the end of October. However, if you're kicking yourself in the face for missing the event, aside from being extremely flexible, you'll also have one more opportunity to catch AMC Theatres exclusive anniversary screening of Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg's beloved film. The encore presentation of the film will be back in theaters for only one more showing. As someone who celebrated the anniversary on October 23rd (the day Marty McFly traveled back to 1955) with one of the special screenings, you don't want to miss it.

Sadly, this time around attendees will not get a commemorative poster, but seeing the movie in a glorious digital presentation is really quite a treat in itself. This coming weekend, on Saturday, November 6th at 12:30 pm, Back to the Future will be playing at 75 select theaters around the country. It's kind of disappointing that the screening couldn't happen on November 5th, the day Marty McFly arrives at in the year 1955, but you take what you can get. To see the entire list of theaters with the encore anniversary screen and purchase tickets, head right over here. Well, what are you still doing reading this? Make like a tree, and get outta here!

Should be fun for the fanboys, but in all honesty, a real waste of money IMHO.

I wanted to see it last night, but it's already been pulled from AMC. I rented a film called Attack On Darfur instead. It stars a 3D glasses wearing guy from BBTF 1 & 2. His name is none other than... Mr. Billy Zane. I still can't believe this is a Uwe Boll film. http://www.blockbuster.ca/movies/detail.aspx?ID=7724
