Andy Samberg and Zachary Quinto

We've previously only mentioned this project in Casting Tidbits, but with some favorite names getting added to the cast, we couldn't help but throw this into it's own article. EW's Hollywood Insider reports that Andy Samberg and Zach Quinto will join the already cast Chris Evans and Anna Faris in the R-rated romantic comedy What's Your Number? The story focuses on a woman (Faris) who re-visits her ex-boyfriends in the hopes of finding the man of her dreams with the help of her womanizing next door neighbor (Evans). Samberg and Quinto will play two of the men she revisits in her quest to find love. Doesn't sound too bad.

The deals aren't official yet, but negotiations are looking good, so expect them to show up in the end. While it takes a lot of originality for a romantic comedy to really draw me in, it's usually the R-rated ones that do the trick. Director Mark Mylod ("Entourage") is working from a script by Karyn Bosnak who also wrote the book 20 Times a Lady on which the script is based. And with Faris leading this one, I'm very much looking forward to a raunchy romantic comedy . Even if she's hasn't made some of the best comedies, you have to hand it to her for being one of the few actresses who has consistently focused on comedy. Sound good?

    Anna Faris?? No thank you.
  • Sounds kinda like High Fidelity, but with a female lead. Ha, it's funny that Chris Evans name is still being attached to this, since we all know that if the rumor is true that he's Capt. America, he'll have to bail on this film (since they're both scheduled for filming at the same time).

Wasn't this a TV show from 4-5 years ago? A woman is told by a gypsy/fortune teller that her future husband is one of her ex-boyfriends, so every episode she and her friends find another ex and re-connect with him. I think it was rather short-lived.

Doesn't sound too bad, but not great either. Plus it is predictable. How much do you want to bet, that she eventually realizes her best friend (Evans) is the guy of her dreams.

Adam Samberg. Anna Faris. I really want to use a lot of profanity, but what's the point? I will not see this.
