Hot damn they've really been rolling out the red carpet for Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch recently. Although the same imagery was first posted on SlashFilm (found on the Comic-Con floor), our friends at IMPAwards have posted a much bigger, full-sized version of a new extended theatrical banner for Sucker Punch showing the five girls - Emily Browning, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens - in the midst of an awesome action/battle scene. This also happens to be the same background from the official website but it's still awesome to see (and use as wallpaper), so check it out. Click the banner below to see it full-size!

Sucker Punch is Zack Snyder's first movie not based on previous material, but an original idea that he came up with and turned into a screenplay with co-writer Steve Shibuya. Set in the 1950's, Sucker Punch follows Baby Doll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man. Warner Brothers is bringing Sucker Punch to theaters on March 25th, 2011 early next year. Badass?

This site is always behind on almost everything. This poster has been around for awhile now, and there is even the animated version of it in the movie's site. Thanks for the Thor preview by the way, I'm glad someone is up to date on things around here.
