Sony Pictures Classics recently unveiled this new official trailer (via Apple) for the British historic comedic drama Made in Dagenham, starring the always charming Sally Hawkins (seen above) as well as Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson and Rosamund Pike. The film is about a group of female workers in England in the 60s who start a strike at a Ford factory in protest against sexual discrimination. It has a kind of Flash of Genius vibe to it (another great film) but with some British sensibilities. It received mixed reviews from Toronto, but it doesn't look that bad, it actually looks like a solid film, so check out the official trailer below.

Set against the backdrop of the 60s, Made in Dagenham is based on a true story about a group of spirited women who joined forces, took a stand for what was right and in doing so found their own inner strength.
Made in Dagenham is directed by award winning British filmmaker Nigel Cole, of Saving Grace, Calendar Girls, A Lot Like Love and $5 a Day previously. The screenplay was written by William Ivory, of The Closer You Get and a few British TV series like "The Invisibles". This premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Sony Pictures Classics is bringing Made in Dagenham to limited theaters starting on November 19th this fall.
