Wrecked Trailer

Here's the concept in Wrecked: A man awakens in a car at the bottom of a ravine in the wilderness with a broken leg surrounded by a bunch of dead people; he has no clue how he got there and has no memory, so he doesn't even know who he is. He's delusional, but hears on the radio that his name is Raymond and he's wanted in connection with a bank heist gone wrong. How's that for a starting point? Wrecked stars Adrien Brody and despite not even having a US distributor or release date, MTV has debuted the first full-length trailer for the indie film and it looks awesome. I love the style, I love the entire setup, I'm dying to see this.

Watch the first official trailer for Michael Greenspan's Wrecked:

A man (Brody) trapped in a car wreck at the bottom of a ravine must overcome incredible odds to survive.

Wrecked is directed by first-time Canadian feature filmmaker Michael Greenspan, of only a few short films previously. He also recently graduated from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. The screenplay was written by newcomer Christopher Dodd, who worked with Greenspan on his shorts. This was shot last year mostly in British Columbia. Alliance Films will be distributing this throughout Canada, but Wrecked doesn't actually have a US distributor or official release date yet, so stay tuned for more updates on it. Look good?

Looks like it could be a solid film. But they really need to shorten these trailers... they're still giving way too much away now days.

Looks good. Has Brody permanently moved into the wilderness? First Predators and now this.

I really like movies where the person can't remember crap and they have to find out what happened. Loved Memento and the movie Unknown where they woke up in a warehouse and had to find out who was the good guys and the bad. Oh yeah! and The Lookout. Great films. I will definitely see this.

Looks great, but thanks to the trailer we know he didn't rob the bank cause the gun wielder grabs him as a hostage. Who gets paid to put these together? Fuckin idiots don't know how to make you want to see more.

Chrisbo on Oct 14, 2010

Trailer is too long, kind of ruins the story of the movie, would have liked to have been more surprised, probably won't see it now because of this, as I was only modestly interested beforehand.

Caroline Dhavernas!

It's like Predators but instead of being trapped on another planet where an alien race is chasing him, he's trapped on the Canadian border of Quebec and Ontario and the mounted police is coming. Don't drink the maple syrup Brody, it'll paralyze you!

Trailer showed too much. Again.

Shitty trailer work, and gave too much away. D:

Everybody loves Raymond

Brody is making some very interesting choices as of late. He's a top notch actor, trailer gave away too much though. Its a shame. Ill still see this. Predators rocked!

I think Greenspan should've read J.G. Ballard's CONCRETE ISLAND before doing this. He might've had a better film.

Setebos on Oct 15, 2010

fuck yeah!!!! brody is great in everything!!!!, bring it!!!!

dave on Oct 15, 2010

Let me guess, he's actually a hostage taken by the bank robbers... and one of them is still out there.

MarcusNyce on Oct 15, 2010

wow they just gave away WAY to much...

neonblue120 on Oct 16, 2010

Those guessing he's a hostage must be right... they shouldn't have included that shot at 1:39

Chris on Oct 20, 2010

If Brody is in it I'm seeing it. Can't wait!!
