Must Watch: Early Teaser Trailer for Ryan Reynolds' Buried!
Although I don't want to watch this teaser, I'm posting it anyway. I will be seeing Rodrigo Cortes' Buried at its world premiere at Sundance on Saturday this weekend and don't want it to be ruined by any footage. But since I know everyone else won't be able to see Buried until it comes out in theaters sometime later this year, this trailer is mainly for all of you. I have also read the script and I know why he's recording with a cell phone, but for those who don't know why he's recording this, I'll let the mystery remain. Buried could be a great movie, but it's set entirely in a coffin underground, so who knows? I guess we'll find out in a few days.
Watch the Sundance teaser trailer for Rodrigo Cortes' Buried:
A U.S. contractor working in Iraq awakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. Buried is directed by Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo Cortés, of the films 15 Days, The Contestant, and Dirt Devil previously. The screenplay was written by first-time writer Chris Sparling. There is a lot of buzz surrounding this film here at Sundance, mainly because everyone wants to know if Ryan Reynolds can actually pull off acting in a coffin the entire movie. I, for one, can't wait to see it! We'll let you know our thoughts after seeing Buried later this weekend.
