All Good Things Trailer

"Don't let them get away with it." I've been intrigued to see an actual trailer for Andrew Jarecki's All Good Things ever since we featured the poster last week, just because it has a very interesting story behind it and Ryan Gosling usually always delivers. Magnolia has finally released the official trailer for the film on Apple and it definitely does look interesting. Gosling stars with Kirsten Dunst as a couple who get married, but things aren't what they seem, and it becomes some sort of mysterious thriller of sorts. I still don't know what happens, but that's probably a good thing, because I'd rather find out once I actually get to see this. Enjoy!

Inspired by the most notorious missing person's case in New York history, All Good Things is a love story and a murder mystery set against the backdrop of a New York real estate dynasty in the 1980s. The drama portrayed in Jarecki's film was inspired by the story of Robert Durst, who was suspected but never tried for killing his wife Kathie who disappeared in 1982 and was never found. Kirsten Dunst plays Katie McCarthy, Ryan Gosling plays David Marks, and they're joined by Frank Langella and Kristen Wiig. Magnolia Pictures is bringing All Good Things to limited theaters on December 17th. Look interesting or dull and mediocre?

I know the whole backstory, this guy is effing crazy...I hope this'll do for Ryan Gosling what American Psycho did for Christian Bale.

All I saw was a hard nipple, geez Kirsten, go one movie without it. Looks good!

Ok...I don't normally do this, but "usually always" is really an awkward turn of phrase. "Nearly always," and "almost always," work, but "usually always" is like saying "occasionally never."

Looks crazyyyy, awesome.

I liked the mood of the first half of the trailer, then it became more conventional with the tagline flashes, etc. Still looks good though, even with snaggletooth in there.

I don't think there's been a movie with Gosling in it that I haven't wanted to see. He always gives a stellar performance. Definitely will se this.

That looks quite appealing, Gosling is bloody good.

Kristen Wiig = Today's female Michael Caine. She's in everything.

I just watched this movie. iTunes is letting you rent it for 9.99 before it's released in the movie theatres. I love Gosling, Wigg and Durst so they got me there. I enjoyed the film and Goslings' portrayal of his character. But if you watch the film I don't think he's anything like Bale in American Pyscho. Marks' might appear cool headed in the previews but throughout the film it becomes pretty obvious that he's aware of how messed up he is. Storyline moves pretty fast. I liked it and I hate thrillers or anything semi-scary.
