'Snow White & the Huntsman' Evil Queen is Charlize Theron?
Just a couple days ago we reported that Inception star Tom Hardy was close to signing on to land the titular male role in Universal's classic fairytale adaptation titled Snow White and the Hunstman. At the time, Angelina Jolie was mentioned as a possible choice to take the villainous role of Ravenna, the evil queen who sends a bounty hunter (Hardy) out to retrieve the escaped Snow White. However, the gossip site Just Jared (via The Playlist) reports Charlize Theron will be the actress taking the villainous female role. For now we should consider this a rumor, but there's at least one reason for her casting that makes at least some sense.
Funnily enough, Hardy and Theron both have the same hole in their schedules because of the recent year-long delay of production on the anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road. How fitting that the two co-stars would find themselves on the same project after another gets such a huge delay. Of course right now, we should probably consider this a rumor just to be safe. As for Theron's potential as the evil queen, she's surely got the acting chops, and this would be a great departure from her bleak, and depressing run of dramatic roles lately. She already showed a slightly villainous side with Hancock so seeing her go the whole nine yards sounds like fun. What do you think?
