The Golden Briefcase

On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by Edward Douglas from ComingSoon discuss their picks of the week, go over the newest DVD & Blu-Ray releases, talk over trailers for the Farrelly Brothers' Hall Pass and Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, talk about Tim's general dislike for the Rocky Horror Picture Show and much more! The main topic of the night was alien invasion movies (in honor of Skyline hitting theaters on Friday). The guys talk over some of their favorite films involving alien invasions, both widespread and personal, and talk about how next year is packed with films from this genre.

The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

I decided to listen to this to hear from a perspective of a disliker of Rocky Horror. I personally really love the film, but I don't have anything against anyone who dislikes it or anything. But I honestly was really disappointed to hear absolutely no reasoning for not liking it. I felt like for the 5 minute-some discussion, all he said was just "I don't know, I don't like it." I found that segment really frustrating, from a film enthusiast's standpoint.

Hey Caitie! Thanks for the feedback! I guess the point of the segment wasn't so much to disparage the liking of the film, but rather to just say how I personally "don't feel it" hence the title of the segment. Since I didn't do my opinion justice (sorry!), i'll try to here. I guess it boils down to me not caring for the subject matter. It's not that I hate the film or anything it's just not something I was caught up in like everyone else. I am actually curious to why you are a fan of the film and would love to hear your opinion of it! Maybe I am just uneducated regarding the flick, who knows. Leave us a voicemail or shoot us an email and let us know why. Sorry that segment disappointed you. Hope the rest of the show was worth listening to! Thanks! Tim
