Another upcoming film still due out this year that I am very anxious to see is Sofia Coppola's Somewhere, her wonderful-looking new drama starring Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning as father/daughter. IMDb just debuted a fantastic behind-the-scenes featurette for the film that is just full of so much heart. It covers a wide range of topics, from Sofia Coppola's interests to the themes to how natural the performances all are. "I always am a fan of seeing movies that really come from a point of view that only that person could've made it, so I try to do that," Coppola explains. It definitely feels that way. Watch the wonderful BTS video below!

Somewhere was both written and direct by Oscar winning American filmmaker Sofia Coppola, daughter of the legendary Francis Ford Coppola. She previously directed The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, and Marie Antoinette, and won the Oscar in 2004 for writing Lost in Translation. This was shot last year in the actual Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood and features a few cameos (one you probably saw in the video). The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival a few months ago. Focus Features is bringing Somewhere to limited theaters on December 22nd this month, with an expansion throughout January. Still interested?
