Robert Rodriguez's Predators

Fox has aired the first official TV spot for Robert Rodriguez and Nimród Antal's Predators as discovered by ShockTillYouDrop. We've already featured a lot of footage from this, including the trailer and a bunch of featurettes, but it's always great to see the first TV spot, at least (from my perspective) to get a good sense of how they're marketing this to the masses. There's not much new footage in this, but there is a cool shot of the four-legged creatures. I also like that the story involves these people being brought there "for a reason." I'm really looking forward to seeing Predators, should be another great summer action movie! Watch below.

Watch the featurette for Laurence Fishburne from Nimród Antal's Predators:

We'll update this in higher quality once a better version is available, but this is all we got for now!

Predators is being directed by Nimród Antal, of Kontroll, Vacancy, and Armored previously. The screenplay was co-written by newcomers Michael Finch and Alex Litvak and is based on early draft written years ago by producer Robert Rodriguez, who also worked with them on the script. This is a reboot of the Predator series created by Jim & John Thomas and directed by John McTiernan in 1987. We're not sure what the actual plot is, but all we need to know is that it's about a bunch of badass elite warriors who fight a bunch of predators out in the jungle. 20th Century Fox is bringing Predators to theaters worldwide on July 7th this summer.

It seems like the main characters know exactly what is hunting them based on this trailer. Personally, I liked how the first 2 Predator movies started off as a "common occurrence" which morphed into a freak event with the onset of an advanced alien life-form hunting the protagonists. But what do i know?

@ #8: Predator's won't hunt pregnant women or anyone unarmed or unworthy of a hunt. My guess is the chick in this film isn't preggers and is fair game.
