The Lincoln Lawyer Trailer

"I don't know Mick, this kid feels wrong to me." Lionsgate has just debuted a second new theatrical trailer on Apple for Brad Furman's The Lincoln Lawyer adaptation and damn does it look intense. I wasn't sure if this was half-comedy at first, but it looks like full-on suspense thriller. Matthew McConaughey stars as the "Lincoln Lawyer" and is joined by a cast including Ryan Phillippe, Marisa Tomei, Bryan Cranston, Josh Lucas and John Leguizamo. Though I've got to say, I think the best part is seeing William H. Macy in the long hair with that rad mustache. We featured the first "teaser" trailer for this just last month. Watch below!

A lawyer conducts business from the back of his Lincoln town car for a high-profile client in Beverly Hills.

The Lincoln Lawyer is directed by upcoming filmmaker Brad Furman, of numerous shorts and the indie The Take previously. The screenplay was written by veteran screenwriter John Romano (Dark Angel, Intolerable Cruelty, Nights in Rodanthe) and is based on Michael Connelly's book of the same name. This was produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and Lionsgate is bringing Lincoln Lawyer to theaters starting on March 18th.

Well .... every lawyer McConaughey has ever played yielded a great film (A time to kill and Amistad) so let's see what this does. Great looking cast as well.

Calling this trailer overly melodramatic would be the understatement of the century. Looks cheesy if you ask me.

I dont know how I feel about this trailer... Its too short, they just dont show enough for me to make a decision

Nice to see McConaughey in a film without Kate Hudson...

I want to root for him but this movie feels fishy. I hope it's good but it feels off somehow.

Despite how the trailer looks, I'm willing to bet McConaughey takes his shirt off.

Hmmmm, looks like it could go both ways, but McConaughey gave me goosebumps when he pulled out that pistol.

Despite how the trailer looks, I'm willing to bet McConaughey says, "bull shit" in a "buuuulll shiiiitt" kinda way.

Chad on Dec 22, 2010

Agree Cody w.

This movie looks interesring. Its nice to see McConaughey doing something other than a romantic comedy. Though he has played a lawyer before this movie looks like he's dealing with alot more drama outside the courtroom than in. Ive always liked his movies but i dont think i could take much more of what he's been doing lately so im glad to see this trailer.

I gotta say its nice seeing McConaughey in a serious role, only thing recent was We Are Marshall.

Xerxex on Dec 22, 2010

Looks good but the trailer should have stopped at the 1m 30s mark.

Looks like McConaughey has finally grown up............. I really love Michael Connelly books. Wish they would put Harry Bosch up on the big screen because he is a fascinating character.
