Your Highness Trailer

"This quest sucks!" We've already seen an awesome red band trailer for David Gordon Green's new medieval stoner comedy Your Highness, but this still looks funny, despite being edited down quite a bit. Universal just debuted a new green band trailer for Your Highness over on Apple. Natalie Portman has CGI panties over her thong from last time, there's no foul language or great quotes like "magic… motherf**cker!" But it still looks funny, damn funny, and I really can't wait to see it. This also stars James Franco, Danny McBride, Zooey Deschanel, Toby Jones and Justin Theroux as the evil wizard Leezar. It just looks so epic, yet so fun!

Your Highness is a hilarious new fantasy movie about an arrogant, lazy prince (Danny McBride) and his more heroic brother (James Franco) who must complete a quest in order to save their father's kingdom.

Your Highness is directed by filmmaker David Gordon Green, who started indie with George Washington, All the Real Girls and Snow Angels, then went comedic with Pineapple Express and hasn't turned back (he's also currently shooting The Sitter). The screenplay was written by Danny McBride and "Eastbound & Down" creator Ben Best. Universal is bringing Your Highness to theaters everywhere on April 8th, 2011 next year.

Well if it's as funny as Pineapple Express I think we've got a winner!

I like this trailer better than the first. Kissing that thing at the end....well that's just wrong, on so many levels!!!!

Interesting concept. It's like YEAR ONE without Jack Black.
  • Xerxex
Except Ells this won't suck as much as year one did.

xerxex - i like the enviroments and atmosphere. i don't know how good it'll be; but, i liked it better than this comedy. i like sean bean too. he doesn't do enough movies but i liked him in "the dark" and "far north". ricardo - my thoughts exactly. it wasn't posted on this site yet so i just thought i'd throw out the link - i'd want other posters to do the same if they come across a trailer that's not on here.

beavis, He was great in Equilibrium and the only good thing in The Hitcher (yeah I saw that horrid film...) and you're right he doesn't do enough movies...his acting looks top notch in Black Death, and I'm eager to see him in HBO's Game of Thrones.

xerxex - i haven't seen equilibrium but i just checked out a trailer and it totally rocks!.......i'm adding it to my netflix queue - thanks for the tip (agree on game of thrones)

You may enjoy it...its a guilty pleasure of mine, Bean has a small part but his role tie's the whole film together. But be warned the special effects are sorta shaky but Bale is worthwhile...let me know what you think.

i like how in the "green band" trailer you cant see natalie portmans glorious rump!
  • lol
why do I not give a shit about this movie?
  • roro32
gotta give it to miss portman, shes building an impressive "varied" amount of roles.
  • Ariel
Sean Bean kicks ass. I haven't disliked any role of his. Equillibrium is awesome. Definitely check it out. Gunkata FTW!
