Watch This: Awesome Teaser for Stoner Comedy HIGH School

It's April 20th today and you know what that means - it's a Tuesday! I'm kidding, it's 4/20 for those of you who are marijuana enthusiasts and in a very smart move, Parallel Media has released the first teaser trailer for the Sundance stoner comedy HIGH School. This is the crazy movie about a high school valedictorian who must get his entire school stoned during a drug test or he won't graduate. So he turns to the local pot dealer madman, played insanely by Adrien Brody (seen above). Just look how different he is between that character and the one in Splice! I'm sure we'll see more for this, but here's the first teaser for HIGH School.

Description from the Sundance 2010 film guide: "In his debut feature, director/co-writer John Stalberg Jr. percolates his deliriously manic narrative with sparkling energy and deviant characters, joyously ramming his protagonists deeper and deeper into frenzied chaos. HIGH School paints its slacker wit with lush broad strokes, firmly accomplishing the conclusive stoner fantasia run hilariously amuck." This stars Matt Bush, Sean Marquette, Colin Hanks, Michael Chiklis, Yeardley Smith, and Adrien Brody. Plans are to release this in theaters sometime in fall. You can read my review from Sundance and also check out some early posters from the fest. There isn't a release date yet, but we'll definitely let you know when there is one - stay tuned!

That trailer was pretty horrible.....the movie is really damn funny. Saw it at a midnight showing at Sundance, can't wait to see it again.

Awesome? You need to learn some new adjectives. This is not "awesome". I note you use this term frequently. The more you use it incorrectly, the less meaning it has for the rest of us. Perhaps a journey back to school? Hopefully you are not writing scripts...

My God that trailer was awful, not saying the movie is going to be bad. But they say watch this awesome trailer when it is total crap.
