And Soon the Darkness Trailer

Before this trailer hit today, I didn't even know this movie existed! Apple has debuted a trailer for another new horror remake called And Soon the Darkness starring two beautiful actresses: Amber Heard and Odette Yustman, as well as Karl Urban. But, of course, it's another one of those bland horror films that is being sold purely on the attractiveness of the two leading ladies. This reminds me a lot of Turistas meets A Perfect Getaway… or something like that. I wish Odette Yustman would actually star in more than only cheap horror, but I guess she needs to make a living. Anyway, if you're into this kind of stuff, check it out.

When two American girls (Odette Yustman and Amber Heard) go on a bike trip through a remote part of Argentina and one of them goes missing, the other must find her before her very worst fears are realized.

And Soon the Darkness is directed by first-time feature filmmaker Marcos Efron, a commercial and music video director of only a few other short films previously. The screenplay was written by Efron and Jennifer Derwingson and is a remake of the 1970 thriller And Soon the Darkness, directed by Robert Fuest. Anchor Bay Films is bringing this new And Soon the Darkness to limited theaters on December 17th late this fall.

Leave it Karl Urban to put the doubt of "He's creepy! But handsome! What do I dooooo?!?!" in to a girl's mind. If he didn't have looks though, the girls wouldn't even be in this situation. lol!

I saw The Unborn, completely regretted it. That is the one film i wish I haf walked out of the theater on and really solidified my hatred for David S. Goyer....it had such high hopes bit failed in every way. And Odette Yustman proved with that film that she really is just a pretty face unfortunately. And a terrible terrible actress.

How can you label this another "horror film"? It's a thriller.

It isn't getting a theatrical release. It's already been announced for home video release on December 28th. Anyways, it looks like garbage.
