Ben Foster Joining Rachel Weisz in Fernando Meirelles Film '360'
Last year we found out that the lovely Rachel Weisz would re-team with The Constant Gardener director Fernando Meirelles for 360, a drama from writer Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen). Based on the 1900 play Reigen (a work that has inspired countless plays and films), the film scrutinizes the sexual morals and class ideology of its day through a series of encounters between pairs of people before & after a "sexual encounter." Deadline reports Ben Foster (The Messenger) is negotiating to join Weisz in this story where characters across all levels of society will show how sexual contact transgresses boundaries of social class.

Review: The Green Hornet is Just the Right Amount of Excitement
Seth Rogen's Britt Reid in The Green Hornet is not a likable character. He's entitled. He's spoiled. He goes through life without the slightest care for his actions or any long-term sensibilities of where he might be going. In essence, he's Bruce Wayne whose parents were not killed when he was a boy. This isn't the first inclination we see for this character in the new film. In the opening shot, Britt is a small boy riding in the back of a chauffeured car, his favorite toy, a 12-inch superhero complete with cape and mask, hanging out the window as if to make the figure fly through the air. He's a boy who dreams, who may have it in his mind

Must Watch: Stunning Sci-Fi Trailer for Angels & Airwaves' 'Love'
Have you ever felt alone? What if you truly were? There is an absolutely breathtaking new trailer that you must stop and watch this weekend, as it came out of nowhere (well - Apple) and it's incredible. It's for an indie sci-fi film called Love, produced by Angels & Airwaves and directed by newcomer William Eubank that follows in the footsteps of Duncan Jones' Moon last year by focusing on one single astronaut, played by Gunner Wright, stuck in a space station. This one seems to have a lot more 2001-plus-The Fountain kind of epic visuals of the station and everything in between. But it looks so gorgeous and I really want to see it!

Another Badass Poster for Jason Eisener's 'Hobo With a Shotgun'!
Holy frickin' hell this looks badass! Put your kids to bed before clicking on to see this fullsize (I'm kidding, it's not that bad). IGN has debuted another new official poster for Jason Eisener's Hobo With a Shotgun, the gritty grindhouse hobo exploitation film starring Rutger Hauer that's hitting Sundance in a few weeks. In contrast to the first yellow teaser poster from a few months back, this one is just so much more badass. It totally looks like exactly like a classic 70's exploitation movie posters, complete with masked hoodlums and shotgun shells a-flyin'. I want a copy of this poster - it's definitely on its way to becoming a classic already.

Watch: New 'Green Lantern' Trailer Mash-Up Featuring Deadpool
After Warner Bros debuted the teaser trailer for the anticipated DC Comics' adaptation of Green Lantern, many fans were left with mixed feelings. The lengthy and tonally inconsistent trailer even left some wishing Ryan Reynolds was starring in Marvel's adaptation of Deadpool instead. While I'm reserving my judgment until the movie actually comes out, the folks at Deadpool and Friends (via GeekTyrant) have decided to spice up the Green Lantern trailer with some choppy animation and crude, but funny, voiceover as if DC's movie actually starred the Merc with a Mouth, complete with his sarcasm. Watch the foul-mouthed trailer below!

Sound Off: Michel Gondry's 'The Green Hornet' - Your Thoughts?
Now that you've seen it, what did you think? Hitting theaters in earth-shattering 3D this weekend is Seth Rogen's new take on the classic hero The Green Hornet, directed by Michel Gondry and starring Seth Rogen as Britt Reid and Jay Chou as his sidekick Kato. When we first wrote about this years ago, not many believed Rogen could pull off a pulp hero like this, and yet here away, kickin' off the weekend with the Green Hornet and his Black Beauty. So how is it? Is it actually good or is it as bad as you thought? How are Rogen and Chou? If you've seen it leave a comment and let us know what you thought of The Green Hornet!

'Rise of the Apes' Pushed Back to November, 'Penguins' in Summer
Briefly: 20th Century Fox is re-arranging their 2011 release schedule, as is the custom once execs meet at the beginning of the year and discuss the status of their films. The biggest change is a delay for Rise of the Apes, directed by Rupert Wyatt, starring James Franco, Andy Serkis, Freida Pinto, which was pushed from June 24th this summer until November 23rd, Thanksgiving week. Considering we haven't seen anything from it yet and its marketing is highly dependent on Weta finishing photo-realistic rendering of CGI apes, a delay is understandable and acceptable, because I want it to turn out the best it possibly can. More below!

Ben Stiller Chats About Producing Richard Ayoade's 'Submarine'
If you followed our coverage from the Toronto Film Festival, one of my favorite films (and favorite of nearly everyone who saw it) was the charming coming-of-age comedy Submarine, directed by Richard Ayoade ("The IT Crowd") and starring the young Craig Roberts as Oliver Tate (above). Well, in Empire's post with new updates from Ben Stiller, instead of covering the repetitive news that Zoolander 2 is still waiting for the studio, I'm focusing on Stiller's comments about Submarine. What is his connection? Stiller, along with his company Red Hour Films, produced the film in the UK, so he's highly responsible for making it happen.

Jennifer Love Hewitt to Helm Ghostly Tale 'Wait Till Helen Comes'
After a hook-handed, fisherman killer never forgot what she did last summer, Jennifer Love Hewitt went on to become the "Ghost Whisperer" for all the geriatrics who watch CBS. Now the actress will go from ghost whispering to telling a ghost story as Variety reports she is set to make her feature directorial debut with Wait Till Helen Comes. Written by Sanchez Mandryk and based on the novel of the same name by Mary Downing Hahn, the story focuses on a family who has recently moved to the Maryland countryside where the tormented ghost of a little girl suddenly becomes involved with the young daughters of the family.

First Poster for Ji-woon Kim's Sundance Selected 'I Saw the Devil'
Last year I was quite impressed with Ji-woon Kim's off-the-wall spaghetti western The Good, the Bad, the Weird (a film that made Marco's Top 10 of 2010). Therefore, I'm supremely excited to see the director's next feature, I Saw the Devil, when it plays at the Sundance Film Festival this month. Jeremy already delivered an extremely positive review of the film when he saw it at Fantastic Fest last year, but we're just getting the first official poster for the bloody thriller from AICN. Combining the facial symmetry of the Face/Off poster with the grittiness of the Se7en poster (which this is said to embody in tone) and we've got another cool one.

Ridley Scott's Alien Prequel 'Prometheus' Ready to Launch in 2012
Whoa - it's here, the official announcement that Ridley Scott's Alien prequel (or, no longer an Alien prequel, you'll find out why) is in development. Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox has officially announced the title Prometheus and a release date of March 9th, 2012. But here's the catch, it might not exactly be an Alien prequel after all, as it has morphed into something "more original." And this original idea apparently involves five major roles, one of which will be played by Noomi Rapace, the others haven't been cast, but actresses circling roles called "Vickers" are Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron. More quotes below!

Watch: Official Trailer for Gregg Araki's Very Trippy Film 'Kaboom'
"Strange seems to be the new normal lately." IFC Films has debuted the official trailer on Apple for Gregg Araki's Kaboom, an indie comedy about some college guys' sexual awakening and trippy sci-fi conspiracy adventure. This stars Thomas Dekker, Haley Bennett, Juno Temple, Jimmy Duval, Kelly Lynch and Roxane Mesquida. To call this film rampant with sex would not be an understatement, but that's expected for Gregg Araki. I saw this in Cannes (read my review) and found it to be one of the weirdest, wildest, wackiest films I think I've ever seen. They can't show much in this, but you'll definitely see how colorful this film is. Enjoy!
