Paramount Goes IMAX in 2011, M:I4 to Have IMAX-Shot Scenes
Earning quite a bit of good money on Tron Legacy, IMAX is on a roll right now and to keep it up, they need to line up some big stuff in 2011. Well - Paramount and IMAX officially announced that they'll be releasing four of their big tentpole movies from 2011 on IMAX: J.J. Abrams' Super 8, Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Spielberg/Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. Best of all, they say that Mission: Impossible will feature "scenes shot with IMAX cameras" that, like The Dark Knight, will feature a fullframe IMAX shots.

Casting Tidbits: Jeremy Piven, Jennifer Lawrence & Kevin James
Ok, so I still live with my parents, which I admit is bogus and sad. However I do have Casting Tidbits, and I still know how to party. But what I'd really like is to do "Wayne's World" for a living. It might happen. Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt! First up, The Wrap reports Jeremy Pvien ("Entourage") and Mike O'Malley ("Glee") will star in the Miley Cyrus action comedy So Undercover from director Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas). The story follows a tough, street-smart private investigator (Cyrus) who's hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority. Piven plays an FBI agent while O'Malley plays Cyrus' dad.

TGB Episode 44: A Trip to the Dump (Guest: IFC's Matt Singer)
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by guest Matt Singer from IFC News for another early 2011 episode. The three go over their Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, new trailers for John Carpenter's The Ward and Greg Mottola's sci-fi comedy Paul, listen to Jeremy's nostalgia for Tim Burton's 1989 Batman and more. The main topic was January as the "dump month" for studios. The guys go over some reasons why they think certain films are left for this start of the year season and if it's truly only the bad movies. Tim and Jeremy also take a swing at Matt's trivia challenge!

Watch: New Character Videos from Pixar's 'Cars 2' & More Photos
Is anyone warming up to Cars 2 yet? I actually thought the teaser trailer was pretty damn cool, but it'll take more to impress others. Disney has surprised us with a fun little set of promo photos featuring the Pit Crew from Pixar's Cars 2: Luigi, Guido, Fillmore, Sarge & Mack. On Empire you can find a set of photos of each one, it's the same group we know from the first movie. And in addition to that, Cinema Blend found two cute vignettes introducing two characters by rotating them on a turntable. One for Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) and for a new character, secret agent Finn McMissile (voiced by Michael Caine). Enjoy!

Watch: Official Trailer for Im Sang-soo's 'The Housemaid' Remake
"Ferociously tawdry." My favorite bleak critics quote from this trailer. IFC Films has debuted the official US trailer on Apple for Im Sang-soo's The Housemaid, his remake of Kim Ki-young's 1960 South Korean film of the same name. This is basically a very sexual dramatic thriller involving a rich man having an affair with his housemaid while his wife is pregnant and the rather crazy consequences of that. I saw this in Cannes last year and enjoyed it, it's a twisted and riveting film that goes to some very odd places at the end. This trailer shows, unfortunately, most of the film, so watch out. Curious to find out how many of you guys are into this.

DreamWorks Animation Announces 'Monkeys of Bollywood' Flick
An interesting assembly of musical and cinematic talent is coming together for DreamWorks Animation's next ambitious project. Variety reports the animation studio is developing Monkeys of Bollywood, an animated musical in the spirit of internationally famous Bollywood cinema. The story will be set in Mumbai and follows two monkeys who try to stop an ancient demon from conquering the world. Not much to get excited about, but composer A.R. Rahman, responsible for scoring both Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours, is certainly a selling point. And that's not all the talent involved to get you excited for this musical.

Atari Bringing Arcade Game Missile Command to the Big Screen
Following the upcoming Battleship and Asteroids adaptations, Atari has hired writers Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama to adapt the classic 80s arcade game Missile Command into a feature film. Producer Peter Chernin (Rise of the Apes) is developing the project at his own production company, with Atari exec producing. Sharpless & Sazama recently wrote the Flash Gordon reboot and worked on Dracula Year Zero. Missile Command, which hit in 1980, is one of the simplest games involving firing counter-missiles from the ground to destroy incoming missile attacks from the air. How that will be made into a movie, I have no idea?

Jessica Biel + Four Others Now Shortlisted for 'Dark Knight Rises'
A rumor just cropped up at Collider saying Naomi Watts and Eva Green have possibly been cast in the two female roles in the anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises. It was believed that Green snagged the role of female villain Talia al Ghul, daughter of Batman Begins villian Ra's al Ghul, while Watts would be playing love interest Vicki Vale. However, those two names don't appear on Heat Vision's new shortlist of actresses who are meeting with Nolan for the sequel. Those in the running include usual suspects like Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel, but there are some less known names mentioned to be in the running as well.

Must Watch: Awesome Full Theatrical 'Battle: Los Angeles' Trailer
Damn this looks so frickin' badass! Sony Pictures has just released a new, full theatrical trailer for Jonathan Liebesman's Battle: Los Angeles, the high-energy action flick described as basically Black Hawk Down meets an alien invasion in Los Angeles. Aaron Eckhart leads an ensemble cast of young Marines who are brought in to fight the aliens, and they meet up with Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan along the way. I really like the characters and actors, I love the style and how insanely gritty this looks, I love all the action, the effects look great, I really love it, this is going to be awesome. Watch the new trailer below!

MGM Officially Announces November 2012 Return of James Bond!
After hearing that the unfortunately delayed next installment of James Bond was being halted by MGM's financial woes, good news came in the form of a plan for Agent 007 to return in November 2012. While red tape and rumblings of halted pre-production had recently created skepticism about hitting that mark, today MGM officially announced (via press release) that James Bond will return to theaters on November 9th, 2012. And if that wasn't enough good news, Daniel Craig is confirmed to reprise his role on Her Majesty's Secret Service and Sam Mendes will still be at the helm of this 23rd installment of the ever-growing James Bond franchise. Hell yes!

New Action-Filled Theatrical Trailer for TokyoPop's 'Priest' Movie
The devil comes in many shapes... ScreenGems has debuted the theatrical trailer for Scott Stewart's hyper-stylized adaptation of the TokyoPop manga Priest - starring Paul Bettany as a warrior priest who must fight off a gang of vampires. Its supporting cast includes Karl Urban, Christopher Plummer, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Lily Collins, Stephen Moyer and Brad Dourif. The first trailers for this premiered at Comic-Con last year and I was actually totally sold based on the footage from those. I'm still interested after seeing this latest trailer, some of the effects look quite good, but I'm not expecting too much. Watch the trailer below!

Charlize Theron Picks 'Snow White & the Huntsman' Over 'J. Edgar'
After considering two very different roles in two very different projects, it looks like Charlize Theron has finally made her choice. Though it had previously been mentioned Theron was leaning towards taking the role of Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk who ended up being J. Edgar Hoover’s secretary in Clint Eastwood's J.Edgar biopic, she's apparently chosen to play the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman. Since this Snow White project was meant to be filming by now, the delayed schedule must have conflicted with Eastwood's film, but another high profile project may have been a factor. More below!
