Warner Bros Goes for Dracula Re-Imagined Detective Script 'Harker'
Warner Bros seems to be happy with Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra's new flick Unknown, hitting theaters on the 18th. Deadline reports that WB is closing a deal to acquire a spec script called Harker, with Collet-Serra attached to helm again, written by relative newcomers Lee Shipman & Brian McGreevy. Harker is a re-imagining of Bram Stoker's Dracula, following a story of a Scotland Yard detective named Jonathan Harker who is tracking Dracula. So kind of a mix between Sherlock Holmes and Van Helsing? Appian Way partners Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, will be co-producing with Mad Hatter Films.

Lou Taylor Pucci Stars in 'The Music Never Stopped' Official Trailer
Roadside Attractions has debuted the official trailer on Apple for The Music Never Stopped, a Sundance film which received mixed reviews, but didn't come out of the fest with much buzz. Lou Taylor Pucci stars as Gabriel Sawyer, estranged son of Henry (J.K. Simmons), and suffers from a brain tumor that prevents him from forming new memories. With Gabriel now unable to shed the beliefs and interests that caused an emotional distance, Henry must embrace his son's choices and try to connect with him through music. Must Watch: Wayne's World Tackles the 2011 Academy Awards Noms
If anyone out there has been complaining about "Saturday Night Live" not living up to the quality of the "good ole days," then this past weekend should've been a treat. Former cast member Dana Carvey returned to host the late night sketch series last weekend, and he brought a few special guests with him. Right from the cold open, the episode felt like it was being broadcast from the early 90's as Wayne's World kicked off the show with Wayne Campbell (special guest star and former cast member Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Carvey) scrutinizing the 2011 Best Picture nominees for the 83rd Academy Awards. Watch below!

Director Jon Favreau Talks the Tone and Style of 'Cowboys & Aliens'
Along with the footage shown at Comic-Con, audiences have already been privy to an official teaser trailer and yesterday's 30-second Super Bowl spot for this summer's genre mash-up Cowboys & Aliens. Though the film is based on a comic book, Universal and director Jon Favreau know they have a lot of work to do in order to make audiences well aware of this epic sci-fi western. Recently, Favreau sat down with EW to dissect the Super Bowl spot, but more importantly, he talked about the tone and style of the film. Amongst many of the challenges, is convincing people this is not just a spoof or comedy. This is some serious shit!

Lasse Hallström Next Adapting Swedish Crime Novel 'The Hypnotist'
Though he hails from Sweden, director Lasse Hallström hasn't directed a film in his native tongue in 24 years. His dedication to filmmaking in the United States has resulted in such fine cinema as Chocolat, The Cider House Rules, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and more. Now THR reports the filmmaker is returning to his roots to adapt Lars Kepler's crime novel The Hypnotist. Following Detective Joona Linna, it's just one story in a series of novels that stand directly behind Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy (which is currently getting an American adaptation via Rooney Mara & Fincher) as the most successful crime novels in Sweden.

Shawn Levy to Direct James Cameron Produced 'Fantastic Voyage'
Producer Steven Speilberg entrusted him with the robot boxing flick Real Steel, and from that gig has come another deal that will have Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy teaming up again. Now another famed director is giving Levy another high profile project as Deadline says 20th Century Fox and producer James Cameron have hired the Night at the Museum director to helm the new 3D remake of Fantastic Voyage based on the 1966 sci-fi flick of the same name. After Paul Greengrass fell away from this last year, Darren Aronofsky, Timur Bekmambetov & Louis Leterrier all met with Cameron before he chose Levy for the job.

J.J. Abrams Chats About 'Super 8', Reveals Story Info & Much More
"Do not speak of this... if you do, they will find you." Tonight was a moment to remember, not only because the Green Bay Packers won Superbowl XLV, but because J.J. Abrams finally debuted the first-ever footage from his new sci-fi movie Super 8 after enticing us with an explosive teaser last summer. Not only did the master of mystery give us a 30 second tease of the brilliance that will arrive this June, but he also spoke at length with Hero Complex in a very candid interview about Super 8 - including his inspirations, what it's about and a little bit more. Discuss: Did That First Look at 'Red Skull' Live Up To Expectations?
Meet Johann Schmidt. You may know him better as Red Skull. He has been unmasked! In Marvel's debut of footage in the form of a 30-second Super Bowl TV spot for Captain America: The First Avenger, a quick flash in the trailer revealed our first look at actor Hugo Weaving as the Third Reich's Red Skull. As this is a big reveal (in addition to seeing Chris Evans kickin' ass as Cap) I thought I'd snap a shot and open up the floor to discussion on his look. Red Skull first appeared in Captain America Comics #7 1941, created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Does he look as good as you expected? Warning: spoilers may follow!

Concept Art for Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah's Ark' Epic Discovered?
It's bit hard to think past Darren Aronofsky's The Wolverine, which starts shooting in a few months, but if you can, there is a project the Oscar nominated director has been talking about for a while that's a "graphic novel adaptation." Last month, a few sites posted about how he's "doing a comic book of a script that's really hard to make and we're going to do a comic version first," which it turns out Bleeding Cool (via The Playlist) says is actually based on the graphic novel Noah, drawn by Nico Henrichon, and they have art. Back in '07, we posted quotes from Darren about a Noah's Ark project described as an unconventional "biblical epic."

Composer Alan Menken Making Original Music for 'Captain America'
We're still not sure who is composing the score for Joe Johnston's take on Marvel's comic book adaptation Captain America: The First Avenger, though it's rumored that Star Trek composer Michael Giacchino may be taking the job. However, apparently a certain musical master will be lending his talents to the movie in the form of some original songs outside of the realm of a motion picture score. Badass Digest has learned from an inside source at Marvel that Disney composer Alan Menken (the man behind the music for Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Newsies and more) is working on some sort of new music for the summer blockbuster.
