SXSW Review: 'Kill List' is Just as Thought-Provoking As It is Creepy
Maybe not the best, but some of the most interesting films are the ones you have to mull over in your head for days after watching it. Their the kinds of films friends debate about, throwing theories around about the subtext and often even the context of what they had just seen. Ben Wheatley can pat himself on the back, because he's written and directed Kill List, a film that has that precise effect on the people who watch it. As with any film that follows this suit, it's bound to be divisive. Some will come out throwing their hands in the air of frustration. Others will know all the pieces of this arcane puzzle are there and require sifting through

Sound Off: Nick Frost & Simon Pegg's 'Paul' - What Did You Think?
Now that you've seen it, what did you think? Fugitive. Celebrity. Slacker. Joker. Paul. While Edgar Wright was off making Scott Pilgrim, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg teamed up to not only write the script but also star in Paul, directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland). The adventure begins at the San Diego Comic-Con and takes them to Area 51, where they pick up an actual talking alien named Paul, voiced by Seth Rogen. Was it actually funny? How is the comedy? Is Rogen amusing as the wacky alien or do Pegg and Frost run the show? If you've seen it, leave a comment below and let us know what you thought of Paul!

Michael Chabon May Rewrite Disney's 'Magic Kingdom' for Favreau
Now things are getting interesting. THR is reporting that Pulitzer Prize-winning author and screenwriter Michael Chabon is considering teaming up with director Jon Favreau for Disney's new project Magic Kingdom. As we already know, Magic Kingdom is the project that Disney lured Favreau away from Marvel with, and it seems to be one of their most high priority features, especially because it's set inside Disneyland (think Night at a Museum, but where the "attractions" come to life). The original script was written by Ron Moore (of "Battlestar") but Favreau wants to bring over Chabon for a "potential team-up on Kingdom."

Rant: 'Limitless' Viral Video Spreads, But Fails to Promote the Movie
Most people know I'm a huge fan of viral marketing, which has had its ups and downs recently, with The Dark Knight viral being one of the greatest ups, and lack of quality virals being the down. But this is a weird story. I was shown an awesome video on YouTube tweeted by @DanaBrunetti just the other day. It shows a man with an iPhone and electronic device he built that allows him to take over the video signal, effectively "hacking" into any Times Square screen he wants and putting his video up instead. It spread quick and even sparked a debate about it being fake. But get this - it's actually a viral video... for a movie! But which one?

Billy Bob Thornton in Negotiations to Return for 'Bad Santa' Sequel
"It's Christmas and the kid's gettin' his f**kin' present!" Oh I love Bad Santa, one of my favorite Christmas comedies, right up there with Christmas Vacation. We've heard rumors and studio buzz that a Bad Santa sequel was in development, but now The Wrap has confirmed that The Weinstein Company is in the midst of developing it. In fact, they've even roped in Billy Bob Thornton, who's "in negotiations" to reprise his role as foul-mouthed crook Willie. This isn't that surprising, considering Billy Bob has already been talking about how much everyone loves the original. "I've never done a sequel... but that one makes sense to me."

Must Watch: Morgan Spurlock's 'The Greatest Movie Ever Sold' Trailer
It's the Iron Man of documentaries! Sony Classics has debuted the trailer on Yahoo for filmmaker Morgan Spurlock's latest documentary, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, which explores product placement. As you've probably already heard, the documentary is very "meta", as the film was entirely funded by product placement, while showing us the inside process of all his meetings and placement deals. I saw it at Sundance and absolutely loved it, will be one of my favorite docs for years, so I highly suggest checking it out. This is a great introduction and I can't wait to see it again. And yes, all of those products (collectible cups!) do exist.

David O. Russell to Direct a Biopic on B-Movie Master Russ Meyer?
The director already has several projects in his future with Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and Old St. Louis, not to mention some other potential projects even later down the road, but now David O. Russell can add another to his growing slate. Deadline reports Fox Searchlight is in the midst of picking up a pitch package that has the director attached to helm a biopic about Russ Meyer, the man behind such exploitation films as Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and Supervixens. Merrit Johnson is behind the script which is partly based on Jimmy McDonough's book Big Bosoms & Square Jaws: The Biography of Russ Meyer, King of the Sex Film.

Aaron Johnson & Jude Law in Talks for Joe Wright's 'Anna Karenina'
Last December we heard that Lee Daniels was going to direct adaptation of the award winning Broadway play Anna in the Tropics, but director Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) is set to direct a straight-up adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's classic Anna Karenina rather than the play inspired by the book. Keira Knightley has already been placed in the title role in the story about a woman stuck in a loveless marriage who struggles with her attraction to a soldier. Now Variety reports Jude Law and Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) are currrently in talks to join the project, though their roles in the story haven't been mentioned.

Two More Epic International Posters for Marvel's 'Thor' Unleashed!
Courage is Immortal. Paramount has unveiled a series of international posters, debuted over on Empire, for the upcoming summer release of Marvel's Thor featuring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder. Given that this is the big movie that is kicking off the summer on May 6th, Paramount has to lead the way with some strong marketing and a hell of an opening weekend, which it looks like they're going to do. We've seen plenty of trailers and lots of posters for Thor already, so this imagery isn't too new, but it's cool to see, especially compared to that red poster in the US. Glad to see some action for once! Check them out below.
