Worth Watching: Trailer for Indie Dramedy 'Terri' with John C. Reilly

Terri Trailer

"You have begun to wear pajamas every day..." ATO Pictures has debuted the official trailer for Terri, the indie dramedy starring John C. Reilly and newcomer Jacob Wysocki as Terri. Following the new trend of "adult takes struggling kid under their wing, both become better people together" genre is this latest indie, which debuted at Sundance this year to quite positive reviews. Apple unveiled this trailer, which is actually very entertaining, mostly because John C. Reilly is funny in whatever he's in. This does indeed look quite charming, quirky and fun, almost very unique in a Napoleon you-know-who way if I might say, check it out.

Patrick Warburton Joining Seth MacFarlane's Raunchy Comedy 'Ted'

Patrick Warburton

We've already heard about quite the interesting cast coming together for "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane's first foray into live-action filmmaking with Ted. Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis will star in the raunchy comedy about a 33-year old man (Wahlberg) whose teddy bear (to be created with CGI and voiced by MacFarlane himself.) comes to life when he's young and poses problems for him as an adult when the bear's alcohol fueled, womanizing ways get in the way of marrying his girlfriend (Kunis). Now Deadline has word that regular "Family Guy" voice actor Patrick Warburton will also be appearing in the comedy.

Lionsgate's Badass New Solid Gold Poster for 'The Devil's Double'!

The Devil's Double

Oh *bleep* yea, now this is cool! Ain't It Cool News debuted the poster for what they've dubbed "Scarface of Arabia", a film called The Devil's Double that Lionsgate picked up at Sundance this year. Despite being an indie, it apparently is as epic as Scarface and Lawrence of Arabia, as it's about the real life "crazy motherfucker" Uday Hussein, son of Saddam who was quite an eccentric fellow, as you might be able to tell from the fact that everything, literally everything, on the poster is solid gold. Step aside Goldfinger, Uday is making himself heard now. Dominic Cooper plays Uday and his double, Latif Yahia. Check this out below!

Sequels Already Being Planned for Both 'Thor' and 'Captain America'

Thor / Captain America

As if there were any doubt that there weren't already plans for more franchises with these characters, an upcoming issue of Disney's D23 magazine (via IGN) contains an interview with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige who ever so briefly talks about the future for the titular characters beyond the release of Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. Obviously the two will unite with the rest of the superhero ensemble for The Avengers, but surely they'll each have their own adventures and stories to be told after that. Feige confirms that and vaguely details where these characters will be headed in their own storylines.

Isla Fisher in Talks to Join Baz Luhrmann's Version of 'Great Gatsby'

Isla Fisher

When the project returned to the news circuit after being announced two years ago Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire were reason enough to get excited about Baz Luhrmann's take on F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel The Great Gatsby. Then the lovely Carey Mulligan landed the role of Daisy Buchanan and most recently Ben Affleck came along to take the role of Tom Buchanan. You put all these names on a poster with just a picture of the book itself and audiences will flock to theaters. However, the cast keeps filling out as Heat Vision reports Australian raised actress Isla Fisher is also in talks to take on a role in the adaptation.

Watch: Silly New International Trailer for Kristen Wiig's 'Bridesmaids'

Bridesmaids Trailer

Universal recently released a new UK trailer for Bridesmaids, their upcoming comedy starring Kristen Wiig as one of six bridesmaids. The others, as we know, include: Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper. Oh and don't forget Jon Hamm is in this, too. It's a newly recut trailer straight from YouTube and it doesn't look that bad, but it is a little silly. If you need any more convincing, read SlashFilm's rave review calling it "confident, a mix of laugh-out-loud funny, smart, raunchy, and heartbreaking... a homerun." Apple also released a new featurette today, too. Trailer is below!

'Fringe' Producers Writing Secret Project at Bad Robot Titled 'Zanbato'

Bad Robot

Here's something interesting to chew on for a while. Deadline reports that two female producers/writers from the TV world, Monica Breen and Alison Schapker, currently working on the series "Fringe" (also of "Alias" and "Lost"), have been hired to do a rewrite for a top secret feature film project at Bad Robot, J.J. Abrams' production company. She only mentions that the project is called Zanbato and has a script that "involves Japanese history and robotics", including "swashbuckling robots with swords," is how someone even described it. Whoa! That sounds pretty cool. Does this have anything to do with Boilerplate?

Cool 'Super 8' Interactive Trailer Unveiled in 'Portal 2' Video Game

Super 8

Aside from the fact that we've already seen an explosive teaser trailer, an awesome Super Bowl TV spot, and a breathtaking full length trailer for this summer's mysterious film Super 8 from J.J. Abrams, this new video promoting the film is one of the coolest pieces of marketing I've ever seen. Valve, the company behind the video game Portal and the recently released sequel Portal 2, have created an interactive trailer of sorts which places the player on the train that so ceremoniously and explosively crashes in the aforementioned trailers. Essentially, it's like being on the set of Super 8 if the film were turned into a video game. See below!

Marion Cotillard / Joseph Gordon-Levitt

We've known for awhile now that both Inception stars Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt would reunite with director Christopher Nolan for The Dark Knight Rises. However, we haven't really been sure who they would play in the film. Rumors have been circulating, including one about Gordon-Levitt playing Alberto Falcone, but today a press release from Warner Bros. confirmed their casting and even reveals their roles in the anticipated blockbuster sequel. If you're worried about an overcrowded cast, it doesn't seem like the roles are very big, and talents like these are welcome in any film. More details below!

30 Minutes or Less

Since delivering a great horror comedy hit with Zombieland back in 2009, I've been waiting for director Ruben Fleischer's follow-up 30 Minutes or Less. Tim Roth Returning to Directing with Adaptation of 'Turning Stones'

Tim Roth

Though the actor is better know for his work on screen in films like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, not to mention his TV work on the Fox series "Lie to Me," actor Tim Roth also tried his hand behind the camera with the 1999 film The War Zone. Now it sounds like Roth will be returning to the director's chair as THR has learned he will adapt Marc Parent's non-fiction book Turning Stones: My Days and Nights with Children at Risk. The book chronicles several different stories dealing with child abuse. The topic is close to Roth's heart as he was once an abused child and also dealt with the subject in his aforementioned directorial debut.
